A party of 9 adults stayed for 2 nights in Stone and Quince Cottages. The cottages were magnificently sited, most comfortable and well equipped. The walks provided good exercise and many stunning views of the majestic scenery while the pools refreshed us in the heat. There was plenty to do and see nearby. The maps for the walks from Quince...

I found Tiershoek details at our local organic shop. Once I saw the farm on the internet I was hooked and couldn't wait to go stay. The luxuries you need to make a holiday enjoyable are all there yet there's still the rustic feel that you can chill and feel like you out of the city and one with nature....

The setting is beautiful and peaceful. The house is large and very well equipped and neat. Lovely swimming pool. Friendly service. It is a great place to stay over for a few days with the family. We will be back.

We enjoyed our short stay. The accommodation had everything you possibly needed. We appreciated the very comprehensive information file on hand which left you with no doubts about the cottage, amenities and the area. The pool of course, was a winner as the day we spent there was extremely hot.

Utterly blissful stay at Tierhoek. Were in the furthest cottage so totally private, magnificent view of mountains from stoep, kids played in private pool all day, my youngest enjoyed the daily visits from three donkeys, pottered around and saw giant tortoises. Best of all no internet or cell phone reception so no temptation to work - a great place to...

We only stayed for one night, but it was pure bliss. Loved the plunge pool combined with the view of the mountains. Outside shower was also prime. We received great service from the Tierhoek team and would recommend the Stone Cottage.

We were for several days at Tierhoek. Which is great place to stay. In the early morning the walk through the mountains (Pietspad). The braai in the evening. More than a quibble of peace. The wines that you can buy at Rooiberg winery (if you leave the main road to Tierhoek)taste very well at the braai!

We stayed in Quince cottage just for one night to break up our trip. It was incredibly comfortable and we can honestly say we have mastered the art of "Stoeping" now, officially. We visited Tierhoek in August for our anniversary and stayed in Pepper Tree. Both cottages are so unique and different, you actually feel like you are in two...

Quince cottage is probably the most remote on the farm. If you want to get away from it all this is the place to be, we didn't see another soul! The pool was an added delight, great for skinny dipping as totally secluded from view. A peaceful and serene location with everything you need. Totally relaxing, would definitely return.
