We stayed in the 2-bedroom house named 'Akkedis'. The house was beautifully decorated, well equipped and very clean. We were very impressed with the authenticity of the decor of the house and also with the little town of Prince Albert.

What a lovely and wonderful little cottage. Having booked a couple of days at the African Relish Cooking School in Prince Albert we had the opportunity to stay at Doringbos Cottage, which was very clean and neat, possibly the first self catering accommodation where you were supplied with tea, coffee and fresh milk in the cottage. The cottage also has...

Very peaceful and beautifully furnished little Cottages. We enjoyed our stay a lot. Very central but absolutely quiet at night. We will definitely come back. Only thing I would change are shutters also in the small bedroom.

In the heart of the village our two cottages were comfortable, cool with the bedroom aircon, and relaxing on the garden stoep. Well-equipped for short stays - cook in the kitchen or on the braai. Short walk to many super restaurants.

Idyllic old cottage with secluded bird and flower filled garden. Bed and bathroom just fine. Well equipped kitchen - but who needs this with great eateries around. Gallery Cafe has a passionate Chef and eclectic menu.

As a writer, it’s not often that my mouth is too full of exquisite flavours that I can’t find words to describe an experience but I’m going to give this my best shot. I am in awe of the experience I had at African Relish. Every single part was far better than I could have ever imagined. My partner and...

We spent one night here. We arrived in 32 degree centigrade heat to a. Equitably cool cottage with a lovely peaceful garden and a great covered verandah to relax on. Donovan made sure that we had everything we needed, including producing a wine list and a great bottle of white wine to sip. The house is comfortable and well equipped...

Doringbos is a lovely Cape Karoo cottage that is rustic and quirky at the same time. It is private and in a quiet part of town and this adds to the experience. Fully self catering but well equipped. There is an airconditioner in the bedroom for those who worry about heat. The stoep has a built in braai and we...

Thank you for your positive response. We do appreciate all the feedback we receive. Please do take note that the reservoir is not for swimming only for capturing water to irrigate the garden. The town is water restricted and the purpose of the dam is strictly for irrigation. We do have a pool at the cooking school that you could...
