Tim and Nadine are friendly and warm owners of this beautiful guesthouse. The rooms are great and my tip is: take the room bij the pool!! Friendly personal, a great choice for breakfast. The homemade serials and bread is super.

Very spacious room and bathroom. Kolonial atmosphere. Clean and very well equipped with coffee maker, fridge, slippers, bathrope, tv. Very friendly and helpful staff. Nice swimming pool and walking distance to city center for restaurants and bars. Wine estates on bicycle distance or with the local tram.

We stayed 3 nights at the Ashbourne Guest House in Franschoek. We found both the staff and the owners, Tim and Nadine, very hospitable. Tim went out of his way to help us plan our time in Franschoek, and his advice was excellent. The pool area is very relaxing, the rooms large and comfortable, WIFI very good, and the breakfasts...

Ashbourne House was a beautiful property in Franschoek which we stayed in for 4 nights. Tim and Nadine are wonderful hosts, making recommendations for restaurants and booking those too. The staff are also great, helpful and friendly. The breakfast was a feast each morning, rooms were large, spacious and in wondeful repair.

This was our third visit to Ashbourne House although our first since Tim and Nadine took over. There was no need to worry about the new management as they are doing a really super job. Nadine presides at breakfast ensuring everyone has a great start to the day, sitting on the terrace in front of Ashbourne House. Tim was exceptionally...

Tim was great! We arrived early with no notice and he welcomed us warmly and checked us in. He gave us great advice about how to spend our one, quick day in town. We had to leave early in the morning to catch a flight and he made sure we had a breakfast, to go, waiting for us in our...

My wife and I stayed here for two days. The rooms are very comfortable; the pool is a lovely way to spend part of a day; and the location is great. Perhaps more important, the owners go out of their way to help improve your experience in Franschhoek. Their restaurant recommendations, wine-tour bookings, and general advice really added to our...
