INNKEEPER’S FAVOURITE REVIEW

We spent 4 nights here in November and cannot recommend Ashbourne House more highly. Our room was a delight, lovely bathroom and toiletries, very comfy bed and a small private terrace overlooking the mountains and vineyards. Excellent breakfasts on the front terrace with freshly made bread, pastries and preserves. However, It was our hosts Tim and Nadine who made the...

As soon as we arrived Tim met us and was very welcoming and extremely helpful about wineries, walks, restaurants and general knowledge about town. Nadine was there at breakfast which was delicious particularly the home made bread. Very friendly stay and I can truly recommend the Ashbourne Guest house.

We spent 4 nights at Ashbourne over a long weekend. We occupied one of the loft rooms and we were very comfortable. The room is spacious and the ensuite modern and spacious too. One can walk into town from Ashbourne and that was a bonus in the evening for dinner. The breakfast was delicious each day with a lovely choice...

From start to finish the whole experience was faultless. Tim and nadine took care of our every need. The accommodation was perfect, we had a super large room at the top of the house with a balony overlooking the mountains. The location is great. You can walk to all the restaurants and shops within 15 minutes which was great. The...

The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The only two things I found odd was that there were logs under the bathroom sinks and no fireplace, as well as the toilet had no ventilation. It is centrally located and within walking distance to the Main Street. The next morning we had breakfast at the guesthouse, it was the best breakfast...

Top class accommodation at a reasonable price. The accommodation was roomy, clean and had a lovely bathroom. Appreciated the little touches such as chocolates, sweets, water etc. Breakfast was wonderful and we only wished that we could have eaten more! Tim and Nadine were a mine of information. Gave us good tips on where to hike, walk the wine trail...

Just off the Main Street however very easy 2 min walk, car parking places next to accommodation , lovely spacious room just off the Main building, breakfast on the terrace, good choice of hot options and cold buffet, open bathroom which may not appeal to all, dogs opposite made it a scary entrance although they were behind iron gates, would...
