Great position in the centre of the village, 5 minutes walk to to the wine tram, PicknPay or Le Quartier Français. Very clean and tidy, eclectic collection of African art and exceptionally well equipped for a self catering unit. Beds very comfortable and a lovely veranda to drink wine on. Had a great weekend.

what a lovely place to stay. Very clean safe and seven min walk to main street. outside seating area just the thing to have morning tea on a hot South African morning. Peaceful and safe! Have no hesitation in recommending Lemon Tree....will be back! .

Disappointing - the beds are terrible - 4 poster iron beds with mattresses on boards; bathrooms are outdated and the 'private' pool buts up against the low pavement wall where people walk day and night.

We stayed at the Lemon Tree guest cottage as a family of 4 adult people and we had a lot of space and even two bathrooms. The cottage is fully equipped with everything you need and serviced daily. The open fireplace brougth a nice athmosphere to the evenings. The beds are very good and due to the fencing you could... More

Stayed in the Riverside Cottage - spacious and nicely decorated accommodation that is suitable for 6 people. Place is a situated a few hundred metres from the main road and in a beautiful setting next to a stream. Overall the setting is fantastic. We really enjoyed our time here.

Stayed at Lemon Tree Cottage for 5 nights. The house is lovely, very well equipped and in a secure location, just a short walk from the main street. Would certainly consider returning. Service excellent.

We stayed in the Riverside Cottage and had a pleasant stay. The cottage is very spacious and has plenty of room for six people. The location is also very nice, with all the restaurants of central Franschhoek within walking distance. A nice place to relax in wine country.

We stayed at lemon tree cottage and wouldn't rate it 5 star. It was good and had everything we needed and close enough to the restaurants and shops in franschoek. The beds were small and uncomfortable, the air on was noisy in the bedroom. The TV lounge upstairs was extremely hot and the aircon didn't work, nor did it in... More

We have recently stayed in Lemon Tree Cottage (Dec) and we found a few problems with it. Their website states that it has 2 ensuite rooms but infact only 1 room has en-suite facilities and that is the room with the bathroom. This unfortunately has no shower facilites which meant that there were 4 people queuing up for a shower.... More

We stayed here during a visit to SA in April after finding review on trip advisor and was happy with our stay. There were 3 of us sharing and plenty of room in the Lemon Tree Cottage. The location was fairly central to Franschoek, it was clean, comfortable and an enjoyable stay all round. If i was back again and... More
