We had originally booked to stay at la Fontaine guest house which we stayed in last year, due a double book with our agent we were booked into gable house, it's a little further than the other guest house, it's a 15 min walk to the main streets , got lost a couple of times . The manager greeted us...

Franschoek was made all the more fabulous with the huge hospitality from Dino as we glided into Gable Manor. A beautiful setting with huge bedroom and glorious bathroom made us feel like royalty. Our room was so spacious with mahousive bed and sofa seating where we enjoyed a well earned cuppa after a long hot drive. A dip in the...

We were allocated a suite on the top floor with a balcony overlooking the mountains. The Manager Dino could not do enough for us with advice on restaurants and attractions. The rest of the staff were all friendly and helpful. Breakfasts were freshly cooked and the choice was great. Would recommend to everyone.

This place was lovely! The service by Dino and the other staff was top notch. The room, grounds, and other amenities were impeccable. We loved the little touches like fresh lavender on our bed every night, reminders regarding upcoming reservations, and the breakfast served each morning. It was a home away from home and we would definitely book again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our 3 nights at this charming inn. Very clean and our rooms were spacious--we were a group of 3 couples. Dino went over and above to ensure we had dinner reservations every night and offered information on local wineries. Close enough to walk to the main attractions, yet quiet and away from the bustling streets.

A group of us stayed here in February to attend a wedding at a nearby wine estate. We occupied the 5 rooms in the main house and all of the rooms were beautiful. We stayed in the Grand Suite (room 6) on the upper floor which was lovely. Everybody in our group was pleased with their comfortable rooms and made...

This was the end of our 2 week trip to SA and Gable Manor was sadly, the most disappointing accommodation we had. We were put in what was apparently the old pool house which had a lot of problems with it which bothered us but might not be a problem for you. There was no private outside space - our...

We stayed here for 3 nights on our honeymoon. We were given a lovely room with a separate living area facing onto the pool. It was spacious and clean if a little dark due to the surrounding vegetation. The staff were very friendly and helpful and had already booked some restaurants for us before our arrival. The breakfasts were lovely...
