Loved this place as soon as we drove in! Staff mega helpful and very nice. The rooms are all decorated differently, ours felt like home all special little touches and very sophisticated and modern with a little chic thrown in! The courtyard setting is lovely flowers and trees around a little pool and then a choice of restaurants. Very relaxing... More

Just completed another stay here, a week in the House Suite. Top marks to the manager, Roger, and his staff for delivering such a top quality experience. We particularly enjoyed having lunch at one of the excellent Franschhoek wine estates, with complimentary hotel transport. Really enjoyable

We really enjoyed our stay, in one of the four cottage suites. The butler service in the early morning for coffee, juice and pastries was a nice touch. The suite was massive and well appointed with a shared pool between the four suites. Breakfast was equally good and the fruit and juice buffet first class. We took the 'One day... More

We booked a few nights here because we had visited its restaurants before and were attracted by the idea of a luxury hotel right on Main Street. Last time we were here, there was a really buzzy bar, with a beautifully dressed terrace outside for coffee and snacks and an excellent second restaurant called The Common Room ( in addition... Unfortunately we were only here for one night and weren't able to have the Tasting Room menu....our loss! We met previous GM Linda at River Bend and she had arranged for new GM Roger to treat us like Gods! Thanks to both fo you, but every sign was that this level of service was simply normal. Nothing was too much... More

We spent 3 nights here, oh how I wish it had been longer! From the minute we arrived we knew we had made a good choice. The welcome was brilliant, so friendly! We were shown to our 'room' house more like, it was huge. Sitting room with a wood burner in case we felt cold. A shower room, with direct... More
