The "Little touches" and extra effort make this accommodation very special. The location is superb and within walking distance of top shops and restaurants. The management and staff are happy to go the extra mile to fulfil requests.
Hubby & I left the kids with my mum-in-law and had our first getaway since our 2nd child was born. The hotel is perfectly located in the high street so walking everywhere in town is a breeze. The room is the perfect size; even has a fireplace for those chilly winter nights! I loved the touch of the complimentary hand sanitizer & face masks incase you'd forgotten yours. Service was super friendly but not in your face. Lovely small pool area; would have loved to have read a book while lying next to the pool; next time! I'd highly recommend this boutique hotel for a stay in Franschhoek.
As a result of covid we where not able to leave the country for our honeymoon. We thought that we would try make the best locally, Le Petit Manoir went over and above to make our stay exceptional! JP, Frank, Karen and the staff where always one step ahead and accommodated our every request. They will most definitely be seeing us again. The rooms are top class to match the service with a stunning view to top it all off. A must for anyone looking to spend their time in one of the most beautiful villages in South Africa in modern luxury. Thank you Le Petit Manoir
Excellent service & beautiful rooms Very Attentive hands-on management Incredible breakfast & friendly staff In room massage was a real treat Don’t miss out , this place is a absolute treasure in Franschhoek
Room is comfortable and generally well decorated, with lovely views over high street, and surprisingly little street noise [only the church opposite!]. But the room needs some practical additions - for example decent reading lights over or beside the bed, a nicer bath mat [there was just a bit of carpet] and larger bath sheets rather than the skimpy bath towels they left for us. Coffee machine is a great idea but we couldn't get it to make hot coffee. But what really let it down was the shoddy and slow service at breakfast - we'd had lunch there the day before and the staff were ok, but it just seemed at breakfast that they didn't care or didn't know what they were doing. Some skills training definitely needed there. I did mention to the manageress on duty, so hopefully they will do something as in this economic climate such shoddy service will not help a business.…
