We spent two nights in the pump house a self contained cottage. It was comfortable and beautifully furnished with its own lounge, fireplace and stoep with BBQ. It had a huge old fashioned bath and ple Nyt of space

Well, second trip to Bo la Motte Farm Cottages, by Franschhoek. As ever Jenny, our Host, and her lovely helpers, made our stay a memorable one. We tried the Pump House Cottage this year, after being in the Oak Cottage last year. Plenty of room for a couple, nicely furnished and with a lovely new Stove for Winter stayers. Well...

We stayed 3 days in the Peer Tree Cottage and we loved it. It is a traditional cottage with a great "stoep" where you can read, have breakfast, ... It is in a nice garden separated from the farm by Peer trees. You feel being at the heart of history when the Huguenots built their first farms and planted their...

This being our 3rd year at Bo La Motte and we are just as enchanted as the very first visit! We travelled as two families and stayed for 7 nights in Milkwood and Goose cottages. The cottages are full of character and very well furnished with very comfortable sofas and beds and are especially well stocked for all self catering...

We stayed at Bo La Motte Farm Cottages on our recent visit to Franschhoek. We travelled with our two adult children and their respective partners and stayed in the recently renovated Owlery Cottage which consisted of three bedrooms and two bathrooms. The cottage was well appointed, beautifully clean and comfortable. More often than not we were out during the day...

We stayed in Goose cottage what a fantastic experience as usual. Very clean and perfect in every way. Beautiful wine farms around to have lunch. Braais in the evening. We had an email a couple of days before we arrived saying that an oak tree had fallen on to the cottage but this had been sorted by the time we...

The valley is beautiful, and this farm is placed like a gem. A beautiful setting, with wonderful cottages, and welcoming staff. The cottages are very well done, and beautifully equipped – vintage, yet modern. We enjoyed our stay at the farm, and would love to come back for longer. Walking up to the view of the mountains, in a working...

My wife and I found this wonderful farm/cottage experience to be one our most memorable ever! Both the staff and owners were extremely helpful, polite and very hospitable. The cottages are all well appointed, cozy, well equipped and private. It is a working farm, which made it even more unique. It is an easy walk to the village which has...
