Really beautiful hotel eco friendly and hoping to become totally energy efficient in the near future. You approach this hotel through Vrede en Lust Vin yard and it is a narrow road with loads of speed bumps. Arriving at the foot of the mountain the hotel is set in beautiful grounds. The room was lovely with the most amazing bathroom...

A small and very relaxing hotel with amazing views from all directions and all you hear is the sound of nature. Service is relaxed, friendly and of a high standard where nothing is too much trouble . Food is so good and delicious. Our bedroom was spacious with a really comfortable bed, beautiful bathroom and an outside sitting area with table...

We recently had a strategic retreat at Angala for our small company. We found the staff to be accommodating, and keen to help. I will say that the staff do still need some training, and are slowly coming to terms with what it means to be a 5 star establishment (hint, dont make diners ask for menu's or butter, especially...

We had a wonderful night here. Aubrey and staff were most friendly. This is a special establishment focussed on the environmentally and spiritually knowledgeable. Lunch, Dinner and Breakfast were all very good. A little 'out of the way' as it is 10 miles from the hustle and bustle of Franschhoek so perfect if that is what you are looking for....

This place is so much more incredible than our searches for it let on! The staff are so attentive, friendly and personal, and the entire place is stunning. It is situated on a beautiful vineyard estate, and on check in we received complimentary wine tasting vouchers for that estate which was a lovely touch. The communal areas and restaurant are...

11 rooms in total, which makes it feel very exclusive. The view is lovely, the service is great, friendly and professional. Fairly close (by car) both to the picturesque village of Franschhoek, as well as lots of different wineries and great restaurants. The suite we stayed in was beautiful with a lovely private terrace, three showers (one outdoors) and a...

We stayed in room 10, absolutely fantastic. The room is top nodge, one of the best bed we ever slept in, the bathroom is huge and super nice. We had booked one night but decided to change our plans and cancel our reservation in Cape town, and stay the entire week at Angala

We recently spent a night at the Angala House. Everything about this stay was terrific. The location is quiet and tucked deep within the surrounding vineyards. The setting gives you the feeling that you are isolated from the hectic rush of where ever you just came from. The boutique hotel caters to approximately ten rooms that are secluded within the...

We had the absolute pleasure of staying in one of their luxury suites, on the first leg of our South African holiday. We were delighted that 9.00am & after a long flight from the UK, we were able to access our room. They even offered us breakfast! Situated in a beautifully elevated position, with views over the wine lands, the...

Stayed for 2 nights in this wonderful hotel. From the moment we arrived until we left, nothing was too much trouble, offered a glass of champagne on arrival and after a 12 hour flight was very appreciated! It really is a hidden gem. Beautiful rooms, lovely quiet location. Great food. Would highly recommend it.
