It was a truly amazing experience and one I highly recommend. Unfortunately it was rather cold for the time of year and the couple of paraffin heaters in the tents were totally inadequate. The Safari drives were informative and well run although I thought 31/2 hours plus per trip was far too long. There was no mention of a "...

We loved our experience at Gorah! Our ranger was Cindy, whose wealth of information and warm sense of humour made our game drives just fantastic. The tents are really comfy - everything you need is in them including chairs for reading and all amenities - they do turn downs as well! Staff is attentive and friendly and the main lodge...

My wife and I stayed here as part of our safari/Mauritius honeymoon and we cannot express how amazing Gorah is. The luxury tents are incredible with breathtaking views over the beautiful game reserve. The staff there are all exceptional, friendly, helpful warm and welcoming which is befitting for a smaller more intimate game lodge. The food was of 5 star...

First stop on the SA leg of our honeymoon, and first safari trip. From arriving at Gorah to a warm welcome from Ross with a cup of tea by the roaring fire to the homemade elephant biscuits for our journey to the airport, and everything in between Gorah was everything we hoped for and more! The balance between a feeling...

I won a weekend away at Gorah Elephant Park. I've been to a few private game lodges, as my Farther is in the tourism business. This one wins the prize. It was an absolutely wonderful experience. Quite expensive for most South Africans, but those who can - please do it, and visitors to our country - you won't regret it...

I've been lucky enough to stay here before, and it did not disappoint me this time! The "tents" are very comfortable and beautifully appointed. It isn't cheap.....but given that the cost includes all the game drives, most (if not all) drinks and the fact you are fed AT LEAST four times a day. I think it's very good value. To...
