We stayed in two of the Forrest Cabins, where we last stayed about four years ago. We knew what to expect but noted that the furnishings and equipment were well worn. At some time in the not too distant future, SANparks need to undertake a refurbishment project. For example, the shower cubicle's doors (on both cabins) didn't fit properly, resulting...

We stayed in one of the chalets during a brief safari trip to Addo. The chalet was comfortable and clean, and the food in the restaurant was fine. The shop in the main building has everything from wine and beer to souvenirs, and lots of groceries. This is the perfect place to stay when visiting the park. One piece of...

Accommodation was simple but clean with a BBQ at each cottage plus fridge, shower, TV etc. The site shop was very useful for buying food, drinks, BBQ equipment etc. There is also a petrol station on site. Really enjoyed the viewing area. We watched an Elephant giving birth over several hours right outside the camp. Real nature. if you need...

The cottage we stayed in was fine- basic but exactly what was expected and was perfectly clean. There was a huge spider in the bathroom which bothered me, but this will happen in this area of South Africa! We had a lovely braai and watched the most beautiful sunset, and had a great morning game drive, until I came down...

We booked a Rondavel and was clean and comfortable beds. En suite shower. We had view of a waterhole and saw elephants a few times Recommend self catering as provide fridge and Barbeque. Lovely to sit and have a glass of wine watching the sun go down and then the waterhole is flood lit.

We stayed in the cottage accommodation for 3 nights while on honeymoon. These facilities were outstanding! Clean modern and well worth the price paid for accommodation. The views of the game area were good from a wooden veranda and the pool was walking distance from our cottage. The only two criticisms we had of our stay was the rather small...

The title says it all. Just a pity you have to stand up to look over the bushes to watch the spectacle, but hey... Also the sneaking hut near the drinking hole is great. And lighted at night makes it a surrealistic Jurassic Park like experience. (It's not crowded with elephants always though.)

We stayed two nights at the Main Rest Camp of Addo. The first night we stayed in a chalet, which was super spacious and a definate step-up from the accomodations we had encountered at the Storm's River Mouth Nat'l park previously. Fully equipped kitchen, nice bath/shower and large lounge. The second night we had to move to a Rondovel, but...

We stayed at Domkrag - booking was fiddly through the South Africa National Parks website and it was quite expensive but when we arrived we realised it was worth it. Wonderful bedlinen and stunning bathrooms - everything was 5* standard. There was such a wonderful feeling of space (four adults in our group) especially when sat on the balcony looking...

Had a 2 night stay here in October and although the park is amazing, the lodgings are quite basic, but adequate. Would we return and stay in the park, yes ... would we prefer the accommodation to be of a higher standard, yes. With that said, as previously mentioned you are already in the park before outside guests and can...
