Great amenities, staff unusually attentive and friendly. Very close to a upscale mall. Has everything you need if you happen to forget something. The food is much better than the average hotel, very flavorful. The rooms are large and the bed is very comfortable. I would stay

A renovation of our home led us to the Short Hills Hilton for a 10 day stay. It was an easy transition since we live in the neighborhood. We took a suite - one large bedroom, a good size living room, 1-1/2 baths and two TV's. We were entitled to use the Lounge on the 7th

Incredible Hotel for getaway weekend out of New York City. Exceptional friendly staff. Great restaurant and amazing breakfast spread. Close proximity to NYC. Great shopping just across the street to a high end shopping mall.

The parking situation was a little annoying. There was no valet, but stated there was valet. I arrived late at night and didn’t want to walk from the garage alone. Was able to park on the same floor as the entrance without issues. Staff very friendly and room was clean. The

Thank you so much for your feedback regarding your past stay here at the Hilton Short Hills. I am very happy to hear you had a great experience with both the staff and hotel. I would like to apologize however for the experience you encountered with Valet and will look into this matter further so see why there was no Valet assistance upon your arrival to the hotel and this should not have been the case. I am happy to hear however that you were able to navigate into the hotel from the garage safely. We look forward to having you back at the hotel in the future!

Is there a hotel shuttle that picks you up from Newark airport?
When I go to Short Hills I take an Uber. It is very reasonable.

Thank you for your interest in booking Hilton Short Hills as we are here to be of service to you. In regards to your question about transportation from the airport to our hotel, the easiest mode of transportation would be either through Uber, a cab, or car service since they can take you directly to your destination. Typically UberX prices starts at $140, while the car service we work with is about $180 which is inclusive of tax, toll, and gratuity. With regards to something more cost effective, public transportation is an option via Air Train, Long Island Railroad and then New Jersey Transit train and bus, however this option nearly will double the commute time if not take longer if unfamiliar with where exactly to go. Hopefully this information provides useful, however should you have any more questions, would like a recommendation, or would like us to arrange something, please call our Concierge Desk's Direct Line at 973-912-4747 - We look forward to your arrival!

Can't tell you which way the room faces. If you're ocean view and leave the balcony doors open you will hear 'the sound of the city'. That being said they were never intrusive. With the doors closed no noise could be detected. Honors will get you free wifi if you ask.

Uncertain what your priorities are or your experience w/ hotel contracts, I'm hesitant to say "yay" or "nay." First thing I'd do is find out who owns the hotel and check to find out how stable their biz is. Usually when service suffers it's bec. the owner is not putting money into a property and into training. I know it has the Hilton brand but am unsure if it's a Hilton managed property. Find out the management company's name and do a search about them. IF it's Hilton, go the regional sales office for assistance - they have people who can help w/ smaller events. If you have other options, do a written RFP with very specific service questions to be answered by those properties you are considering. Compare their responses as well as the 'rates-dates-space' issues. Good luck!
