We used to eat regularly here but for a combination of reasons had not been back for a couple of years. We ate in the Stable bar because the rest of the facilities were being used for a wedding. As always the staff were very accommodating and helpful. The menu was wide ranging with something for everyone at very reasonable...

Had a great dining experience at the Stable Bar this week with two friends. Great atmosphere in the bar with friendly helpful bar staff. We all choose different meals from the menu and were not disappointed. The food was well cooked and presented. Top marks for 3 delicious main courses and the chocolate fondant and caramel shortcake. Well done to...

My daughter and son-in-law booked this venue for their wedding in August 2016. This hotel and their staff were brilliant throughout the whole of the wedding day. Took 2 twin rooms - very pleasant stay with comfortable beds, and friendly service. The staff accommodated looking after our 4 bikes, which was very helpful. Excellent breakfast, and useful having the Stable Bar just behind.

Big rooms, clean and well worth the price. Service by staff was excellent. Great food in the Stable Bar selection from well balanced menu. Best Fillet steak I have ever had. 20 minute drive into Glasgow city centre or 5 minutes from Campsie hills. No complaints.

Lovely lunch menu here, no need to book. Nice relaxed atmosphere with old fashioned surroundings and coal fire. Managing the place was a lovely bloke called Alistair, his customer service is absolutely fantastic. He was so friendly, helpful and nothing a bother. A regular customer on his own, clearly with medical difficulties was in. Alistair sat down with him, took...
