My guy and I spent an overnight at Skyland for Valentine's weekend. The room was beautiful. The bed was beyond comfortable. All of the staff were very cordial and welcoming. The only thing I can say negative is that the doors are not very sound proof, so you could hear everything in the hallway. Overall though it was a very...

My husband and I went for Valentine's Weekend. Our entire trip was a pleasure from the moment we got there until the moment we left. Margie, the inn keeper was helpful and pleasant. We needed utensils to eat food we had brought with us. She went out of her way to be accommodating. Our room, a Gatsby room, was gorgeous....

This venue for a wedding is absolutely stunning - as long as you don't intend to count on the staff for essentially anything. Being in the service industry for many years, I could not believe how rude and unprofessional the staff was, particularly management and whomever was supposed to be helping the bride. They continued to show their distaste for...

I have always wanted to have an overnight in a Castle. Skylands Manor more than filled my need. It is nestled in the center of New Jersey Botanical Gardens. What a perfect setting. The Castle itself is breathtaking. A perfect place for a wedding. Several weddings were being planned while we were there. Every nook and cranny is filled with...

This is a lovely and quaint mansion where you can step back in time. MARGIE the inn keeper was awesome! She made us feel right at home and was more than accomodating. The breakfast was excellent as well. This is a beautiful home that we thoroughly enjoyed visiting. We will definitely be back again.

Enjoyed our stay in the Queen Antoinette Suite. Beautiful view of the gardens, magnificent suite with huge leaded glass windows, I could see the stars from bed at night. The castle has a rich history with woodwork imported from Germany, Scandanavia and other countries. Enjoyed roaming through the main rooms and reading about the history of each room. Loved walking...

A short break away from the big, bad City at the beginning of summer break for the dear wife, …but didn’t want to have to drive too far. Found this seemingly amazing deal on one of my favorite “deal” sites: Groupon. And it certainly is a great deal for the location and price: two nights in a “genuine” castle in...
