We do not charge for parking after Labor Day, so we are not quite sure why this post has occured. We also take great care in providing accommodations which are inspected before and after each customer checks in. And also inpsect the room upon checkout and after the room is cleaned. This reviewe is questionable at best? Merry Christmas and...

My family and I have stayed at the Amethyst every year for about four years now. We always have a pleasant time at the motel, and feel as though we are at home. We had stayed at the motel the weekend of the wedding, which I now see has caused much uproar on this website. The people outside on the...

I recently stayed at this motel for three days for my friend's wedding along with the entire wedding party. Let me just say it was the most terrible experience I have ever had... First, they charged everyone much more then originally quoted months before. Second, the rooms smelled of mold and urine. Third, the manager threatened to kick us out...

Once again our apologies those of you who may be considering staying with us and who look to reviews to gather a sense of the quality and condition and service you can expect. With regard to a weeding group who booked with us and what has been represented as misrepresentations on our part that this group could take control of...

I want to get the record straight here. I have never been so offended in my life and treated like absolute dirt like I was at this "motel". My friends and I stayed here for a wedding in the off season and blocked out rooms specifically for this event. They charged us an outrageous amount of money for a room...

If you are considering conduct and behavior which disturbs other guests or requires the police to intervene in order to take back control of your facilities we would be happy to refer you elsewhere. We are first and foremost a family run property and cater to families and couples seeking a clean quiet friendly environment to stay while visiting Point...

We were a wedding party that was first off was completely over charged for the rooms. We were rented the location knowing this was a wedding party with everyone in their mid to late 20's. The manager was completely rude when we returned after the wedding to the motel. The group was sitting around the side where we were told...

We have to apologize first to all of you who read these reviews as what we are responding to is truly an unfortunate sign of the times. Last weekend we had a number of guests who stayed with us who were here to attend a weeding being held somewhere else. A number of guests checked in who were attending. We...

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Amethyst Beach Motel in NJ. The rooms were clean with a kitchen area, heated pool, very friendly and efficient staff, gas grills for guests to use with a nice picnic area to eat. Continental breakfast was good. Nice walk to the beach and board walk. Very safe area for kids of all ages....

Thanks so much for taking the time to post a positive review, more often than not it is only the unhappy customer doing the review leaving a future customers with the wrong impression. We always like to point out that each day we host approximately 100 people and only a small percentage post a review of any kind. Thanks again...

I write this with some trepidation because with so many positive reviews I will seem like that one miserable guy that no one could make happy. We appreciate helpful suggestions, and honest criticism as that is how we continue to improve. Situations such as this do occur, sometimes due to coolers brought into rooms and leaking although we provide a refrigerator and microwave in each room. We took measures to correct the dampness. We would very much like to have an opportunity of providing future accommodations...

The Amethyst Beach is a great place to stay. I stay there every year during the powerboat race. The Amethyst is a great supporter and sponsor of the race every year. It is a favorite among race teams. Great family, that works together to keep the Amethyst first class and first rate. Toni Potthoff President, NJ Offshore Powerboat Racing Association

My family of 3 recently had a 3 night stay at the motel. We found the location excellent, the hotel staff friendly and helpful and the room clean and a reasonable size. The Boardwalk View room was designed to keep the pool activity virtually inaudible. The $17.50 per night surcharge for parking and "resort" charges are not unreasonable but should...

You can also get two adjoining rooms on the first floor which would sleep 4 with an option for a sleeping bag sleeper - it would be tight but might work

If you mean the marina, I have not been to the Clark's Landing marina but think it's on the same street (Arnold Ave), but at complete opposite ends. A short drive away, but too long to walk.

We are probably 1000 feet from boardwalk, on our side of the street is one long block on the other side it is two short blocks. Google maps will show you exactly where we are. almost all of our guests walk wherever the wish to go. Down town Point and the train three blocks.

Thanks for asking
