Hotel was very old and not updated. Room advertised with queen beds but were double/full which was hard to sleep in with 2 adults. No hot breakfast only continental which did not have much of anything. Very noisy since it sits right on Highway 1 but also people just talking outside you could hear everything. Fitness center hour ended at 8pm, not convenient, most are open until at least 10pm.
We arrived after dinner, early evening. Excellent facilities, CLEAN well appointed room. Convenient off/on the highway. QUIET overnight. Thoughtfully prepared, healthy COVID-to go breakfast. Excellent coffee service available 24/7.
Hotel rooms are clean and big, start are extremely polite. I'm getting staying here for the past 6 years whenever I come to this place. Front desk was extremely courteous to extend my check-out for few hours
I stay at this hotel frequently. It is always clean, quiet, and I feel safe staying here. The continental breakfast is what you would expect; pastries, yogurt, bread which you can toast. The coffee is really good!
Met our needs for a 3 night stay with my daughter. We drive 10 hours for our bucket list trip to Six Flags. After reading so many poor reviews of nearby and fare more hotels we decided to try further out. It was an easy 30 min drive and this place was safe and quiet. Clean and everything worked as it should. Make no mistake...its very basic. But as 2 women traveling alone we felt safe here. Well lit, free parking. Target and Supermarket very near. Desk staff very nice. Basic breakfast of cereal, yogurt, packaged pastries bagles or toast. Nothing special, but it was adequate. Only issue it that the hotel sits on one side of a divided highway, so you need to drive about a mile past to turn around to enter the property. l would recommend this as a clean, budget friendly place to stay.…
Furnishings are a bit fader but functional. Breakfast was grim: hardly any fruit, but plenty of sugary pastries . We supplemented with more fresh fruit and non-cany yogurt from a local grocery. Coffee? Hard to tell what is was. Quiet enough, however. And a very quick 15 drive drive into Princeton.
I will only stay at Best Western Hotels now, whether its business or leisure. The Rewards Points Program is Excellent and I've redeemed a few free night stays which is awesome. I look foward to more stays.
Not sure if I received the correct room but upon checking in, we were educated on a few perks available in the room which were unnecessary because there wasn’t anything they had described. There was only decaf coffee in the room. The room was dusty, rugs do not appear to be vacuumed, ac/heater unit was dusty, you can only imagine what happened when turning on the unit to stay warm. The bathroom smelled like a public bathroom, after the first night the smell kept getting worse as if it was building up from something. Toilets do not flush well, I have a neck and back injury and the shower head did not offer great positions and I only ended up uncomfortable standing there, I am 5’6”. The bathroom is a dangerous environment, there are no rugs for getting out of the shower safely, nor were there hangers in a safe distance for getting out of the shower in order to grab necessary towels and clothing. I had to buy my own disinfectant wipes to wipe down the entire room including all table surface areas, the heater unit, the curtains, the window sill, which were COMPLETELY covered in dust. I had an allergic reaction the first two days, my nose was clogged upon the first hour of being in the room including my boyfriend but I did not think much of it, by the next day my eyes were swollen and irritated even after leaving the hotel for air for a couple of hours, the reaction was through the roof by the second day. During my entire stay I left my room door open to hopefully ventilate and air out the dust in the room, by the 3rd day the dust allegeric reaction subsided. The smell in the bathroom did not. Housekeeping slams the door a lot coming and they’re metal doors. The bed sheets had light to dark yellow/brown stains, extremely uncomfortable situation when the sheets and blankets are white. I am from out of state and checked in at 9:30PM - 10PM and did not have the energy to check over the room until the following day. Upon asking the first shift lady for new blankets due to the stains, she assured me the owner does the laundry therefore I should not be concerned But that she will have new blankets come, which she relayed to no one. I waited two hours before showering because I did not want housekeeping nor anyone to be in the room without my presence. When returning to the front desk, after a couple minutes of waiting a staff arrives to start the second shift. He had no knowledge of my situation and had to get in contact with the first shift lady, who was already gone, on what I needed. He got me new blankets, by night time I set up all the blankets and there were cigarette holes in many spots. My boyfriend recommended calling front desk so we were not accused of causing the burn holes. Front desk arrives with new sets also with burn holes in them. I did not want to continute being frustrated therefore let it be as I only had one day left. I chose the hotel because of 4-star ratings but was completely disgusted and dissatisfied during my entire stay. …
My son and I were travelling for his sports event and needed a place to stay within reasonable distance (1 hour) and reasonable price. The room was not extravagant but basic room. it was clean (bathroom too!), comfortable bed (king) and included internet.
I used to enjoy staying with Best Western. But after this experience, I will not stay with Best Western again. Positives: Fast check in. Great to show how shower works. Easy parking, spacious. Convenient with Target and ShopRite nearby. Bedding set was clean. Negatives: WiFi did not work. The front desk staff, John, asked us to a toll free number in order to speak with a technical support to solve it on our own, which I believe it's the hotel's responsibility to solve it. Carpet stains on the floor throughout the room, paints fell off from bathroom door, bathroom door lock/knob has cracks. Dents on the front door. Dirty stained accumulated along the base of the bathtub. Countless pin holes all over the sink walls. Breakfast was offered in a form of lunch bag vs a sit down hot meal. Felt like everything was a downgrade and overpaid for this stay. Shared feedback with Best Western, and their response was that they wish we had expressed our displeasure up front. We felt unheard, let alone their sincerity in solving problems that came from their side, especially WiFi connection. They could not even address and solve the WiFi connection issue nor care about solving it, how could we raise other issues about the hotel to them? It was a very disappointing experience with Best Western and we have decided we will never stayed with Best Western again.…
