We just returned from our second stay at the Neighbour House. This charming home is in a beautiful setting, the perfect place for a relaxing time. Hosts Iris and Rafi made us feel so welcome cooking us a delicious breakfast and providing us with great information on the area's hiking trails, parks, restaurants and quaint shops. The beds were comfortable... More

We were in town for business, and had the two rooms with a shared bath, and one of the rooms with a private bath. Breakfast was prompt and tasty, rooms were clean and reasonably priced, and the owners were friendly and welcoming.

I grew up in LV but hadn't been back in some time. It was great to stay at the local B&B, historical house and just stop to relax. Customer service of Rafi & Iris (owners) was outstanding. We stayed in the Yellow room with private bath. Everything was perfect. Breakfast was perfect and they are very accommodating on people with... More

Our wedding guests stayed here as we were having a wedding down the road. The manager was curt and rude, not warm or inviting what so ever throughout the booking process. When our guests returned to their rooms, things were moved around and lights turned out. There was absolutely no sense of privacy provided to our guests or a welcoming... More

Our visit began with a very warm welcome from Iris, and her establishment reflects her attention to detail and friendly personality. The house is old but sturdy, clean and very attractive. Our room was spacious, en suite was all one needs, and the bed etc was just right. Breakfast was yummy, eggs cooked to order and freshly baked cake and... More

We stayed at the Neighbour House to attend a local family event. It turned into a relaxing weekend get-away with fresh mountain air, friendly attention of Iris and Rafi, and comfortable accommodations. I felt a little like a visitor in my hometown, which made it a fun experience. We would be happy to return, and bring our bikes and hiking... More

What a treat, by every measure. The house and property were nice and aged - the farthest thing from a Marriott. The rooms are beautifully appointed by a loving couple who clearly take this as a labor of love. And they were kind enough to recognize the special occasion of my wife's bday in a nice way.

We stayed at the Neighbor House for 3 nights while in town for family events. Iris and Ravi couldn't have been more wonderful hosts! And Iris is a wonderful cook! we are foodies and loved her cooking. Easily located for Long Valley/Chester events. We will be back again!

We only stayed one night, but found all the qualities of a top-notch B&B. A lovely historic home, clean and tastefully decorated, comfortable bedroom, made-to-order breakfast and gracious hosts. Highly recommend.

I'm from the area, and stayed here one night while visiting family. The house and staff is wonderful; the ambiance brings you back to another time. The rooms are spacious and beds are very comfortable. We had a large room with shared bathroom and both were impeccable. The backyard has a field and fire pit, and the location is close... More
