Stayed here on a Saturday night by myself. Outside of hotel seemed fine. Lobby basic. Hallways seemed clean and immaculate. Room not so much. King room. Tight quarters. Bathroom was bright and had an exhaust for steam. Shampoo, lotion, and soap provided. Bathtub area was not clean enough for me. Did not shower! Bed and pillows were comfortable. Comforter torn, sheets had cigarette burn. Could have used a little more light in the room. Big fridge which was nice. Microwave as well. Furniture was chipped. Phone was gross. Curtain tracks stuck a bit. Desk chair had stain on the seat. Location convenient to everything.

I stayed at the McIntosh Inn Of Princeton for 2 nights in September 2003. To be honest, I wasn't expecting much when I made my reservation at the last minute. When I arrived, I was pleasantly surprised.

This hotel is a quirky place, but the accomdations are clean and the staff is helpful. I had a King Deluxe room, which has a king bed, TV, lounge chair, desk, microwave oven and small refrigerator.

What I found odd was that the room did NOT include a coffee pot. Fridge and microwave, but no coffee pot? I happened to be traveling with a 4 cupper in my car, so I did not inquire at the front desk if they could provide one. My guess is that they might.

This McIntosh had a sort of boarding house feel to it. Sort of like a strange hybrid of a bed and breakfast and hotel. Somewhat of a country look to the rooms. The appointments were very pleasant and efficient.

I thought this was a nice place to stay and I would recommend it to anyone who needs a nice, comfortable, clean room but who is not a round the clock coffee drinker.

Make sure you're aware that check out time is 11:00 AM. For a late sleeper, 11:00 AM is a struggle! Hey, maybe that's why they hide the coffee pots: so you don't stay up all night and CAN check out at 11:00 AM.

This McIntosh Inn is really worth a look!

This is a reasonably-priced hotel in the Princeton area that's only a short walk to the Quakerbridge shopping mall. The room had the following defects: The room had an unusual smell, the air conditioner caused the room to smell even more (filter was not clean), the TV reception was very poor, you could hear way too much from the adjoining room, the bathroom wallpaper had child-like graffiti, the carpeting throughout the hotel was old. They privode a decent continental breakfast and the front desk was courteous and permitted an early check-in.

The owner and his management were the most unprofessional and rude people I have ever met. I booked 2 rooms under the employee rate, and requested that they give us 2 double rooms. The owner started yelling and causing a scene, resulting in him threatening that he will cancel our Reservation. I felt extremely disrespected, so we told him to cancel it and left. The hotel itself was small and I could tell just by the lobby that it was dirty and unkept. I wouldn't ever go here under ANY circumstances. Management is repulsive.

The first room we had smelled. They relocated us, and that room smelled even worse! Since it was already midnight, we just shut the air conditioner off and slept with the windows open for fresh air. It was extremely noisy, since it is on a very busy road, but at least we could breathe.

Very dirty rooms, we had pre booked but left after checking out the rooms, I really wouldn't bother booking if I were you, as a real disappointment and don't really understand why they would expect this to be acceptable.

My family booked two rooms here, we checked before we unpacked the car. Hairs on the bed and very dirty W.C and bathroom. We couldn’t stay here so we left. The rooms are very poor and the place smells. Needs a complete revamp. Go to the nearby Hilton Gardens which is beautiful and Clean.

We made reservations for two rooms. The checking in process was extremely slow especially given the fact that the rooms were paid for when the reservations were made. We had two rooms. I went into my room and initially it looked a bit worn out but ok. As the room was warm, I need to turn on the air conditioner. The air conditioner unit was dirty. Because it was so dirty I wanted to wash my hands in bathroom, the corners of the floor near the door was filthy. The room chair was also stained. As I was traveling with my dad, And he booked the rooms I wanted to hear what he thought about the rooms. His room was equally dirty. He said, “I’m afraid to put my head on those pillows.” We used the hotel as a room to change before heading to our event and when the event was over went back to room to gather our belongings and drive home. Interestingly when we were leaving (approx at 10 ish) there was no one at the front desk. In addition to the filth, the elevator didn’t work. If your in the area and need a place to stay, I’d tell you to keep driving or sleep in your car.. place is gross...
