Was given a queen room with no microwave or fridge as advertised....went back to lobby got put into king room as I had booked. Was nice sized and reasonably clean. Fan in bathroom extremely loud. In the 3 buildings there was no ice machine. Could not get towels for 2nd day at hotel had to reuse our towels as they had none to give us.
I always do read reviews prior to staying in a new place, and while there were reviews that were not good of this place there were also some that were, so I decided to give them the benefit of the doubt because I just needed a place that was clean for two overnights. While I wouldn’t describe it as dirty, I just can’t give it a good review overall. The room smells funny and I suspect that it is whatever cleanser or deodorizer they use so that people don’t notice that it’s a room where people formerly smoked and they can’t get rid of that odor without completely renovating the place. In addition, my TV, which is a nice, new looking item, doesn’t receive a signal for almost all of the channels, and the couple of stations I wanted to watch just to see the news are in Spanish. I went to the front desk and the young man there was very nice and said he would call someone but we both agreed it was unlikely that anything would happen tonight, so he changed my room to the one upstairs. That room had the same odd smell and the TV there wouldn’t turn on at all so I simply returned the keys and told him that I felt I was stuck, but that I certainly would never stay at this property again. And I am not a tough customer when it comes to what I want in a hotel. I needed to save some money on this trip so I’m well aware of the adage of “you get what you pay for“. Nevertheless, it wasn’t cheap enough to expect this kind of service (or lack there of). I definitely would not recommend people using this hotel because I’m not convinced they really have their act together on how to best provide hospitality for people.…
Do NOT BOOK here!!!! I've stayed here several times throught the last few years. I stayed here 2 wks ago and had a really nice room. I came back for 3 nts 4th of July weekend and requested the same room in my reservation. When I checked in I'm told I can't get that room because it belongs to a different company and I have to book with them Home Town Studios. I go to the room he gives me claiming it's the last room he has on the ground floor..OMG!!!! He put me in a room where the homeless/dosplaced people live which is not kept like the rest of the areas. It smelled like cigarettes and sweaty feet and a gymnasium. So bad my nose began to burn. A man living there with his huge dog sitting outside. It was filthy. I couldn't stay there. I ended up paying anoher $50 to get a room across from the office. The room I wanted he claim it's under renovation. They just totally renovated the room when I stayed last time. The manager and I discussed how nice it was. This kid at the desk was of no help. The room I got was so small compared to the room I requested. This entire situation was so draining and time consuming.…
BED BUGS!!!!! Room 134! Stay away! I’ve never had such a horrible experience as this. Took a nap early evening and woke up to at least half a dozen bed bugs sleeping with me! I’ve stayed at multiple Red Roofs and support this business as I have dogs. After speaking with the receptionist, I received NO compensation at all! No room replacement or refund! I am so disgusted! Management! Get this place under control. I’ve never seen such an infestation as that in my life! Health inspection needs to shut this place down!
Mr.Lelo is very welcoming and nice to guests . Enjoyed the stay. Fast customer service. Was very kind everytime and gave us a real good unit to stay. The airconditoer was good. Very safe and good location Highly recommend
We arrived to check-in at our hotel after previously booking online. We arrived at 6:45 and were told that our reservation had been cancelled because we hadn't arrived by 6 pm. This information was not given to us on our reservation, nor was it found on the RRI website. With it being a Princeton Reunions weekend, every other hotel around was selling for $300 plus a night, which we were forced to pay for lack of another option. I'll be avoiding RRI in the future and am looking at my options legally.
In previous years I have stayed at this RRI for an annual event. It It certainly has gone down hill. Where do I start--checked in at 8pm and the front desk clerk (no name tag) spoke so fast that it was difficult to understand him. I was also charged a deposit of $100, which was not noted on my reservation confirmation (I booked through my Red Roof Account). The pluses- I got a1st floor room as I requested in my reservations, the toilet, tub & sink were clean, the bed sheets clean (I always check for bed bugs).The negatives-The cable TV did not work well at all. I think I got about 5 channels? Over the bed lights did not work, and the clock radio did not work I called the front desk to alert them to the TV and they said they would look into it . I also told the desk clerk the next morning about the over the bed lights and she told me she would let maintenance know (a different clerk than at check in, and again no name tag). The wifi signal was weak. I spilled some water from my water bottle and used a towel to wipe it up. The towel was black with dirt clearly indicating the floors had not been washed in quite some time. The carpeted areas looked like they never saw a vacuum. I also went to the lobby to get some hot water for tea and was told by the female clerk that I was not allowed to use the hot water dispenser and that it was only for the "construction workers" . She 'allowed" me to get some hot water but said that I could not do it again. Seriously? …
I’ve been staying here in and out for the last two weeks. All i wanted to say was that the staff is very friendly. Everytime i ask for certain accommodations they always help me. I would like especially mention lelo from the front desk for being such a nice helping person
Lelo, was a great help with setting up getting settled in and assuring us a great stay. The hotel is remodeled and has nice stay. I for sure recommend this place for the price and something easy on the go.
When I was here last month it was a nice and quiet place and excellent service from the front office and housekeeping I advice everyone to visit this property .regarding the price its very good more than others
