We booked a suite. However, there is no separate living room. A very large bedroom. Separate area consists of a jacuzzi. Very nice but not a suite. Also no refrigerator or micro wave. Something to expect in a suite. Carefully check what's included before booking.
The historic and iconic place is a very charming place to discover . Walking around the pretty shops and old building gives you a feel for the historic place . The bridges across the Delaware river will give you so perfect picture postcard memory to take home . The ice creams are wonderful .
We stayed at LH overnite. Before bed we went into the bathroom and the whole floor was covered with ants. Called and they came and wiped them with a rag.got up during the night to use the bathroom, same thing..ants all over. Happy 50th anniversary No management around to address this issue or offer us another room and there were certainly rooms available. Very very disappointed for a $375 room. Actually it was so gross , I was itchy all night. Never ever again!!!!!
We chose a king size room and it was very large and comfortable. The ceilings are just 7 ft tall, so a very tall person would not do well here. Had a gas fireplace that we decided not to use because we were aware that we could smell it. Limited parking spaces are available at the hotel, or they use an overflow lot about two blocks away. The room was quiet- didn't hear much other guest noise, but we did hear the street. The dining room was not open for breakfast so we walked up the street for a perfect diner breakfast at Sneddon's Luncheonette.
My wife and I stopped in for a drink to kick off NY Eve. After waiting to be seated inside at the bar, we were told to walk in and choose any seat we would like. There were two bartendars, neither of which looked our way, even when I walked to the bar (TWICE) in hopes to be acknowledged. Nothing..... I am totally disappointed in the lack of "hospitality" shown by BOTH bartendars from the moment we walked in until the moment we left - without having a NY Eve drink.
Have been staying here for so long in the best room they have. In the elevator this am met a lovely "older" couple who just looked at us and said "it's lovely but not what it used to be. I agree. Food is wonderful. We came here when they didn't have food. Bar is beautiful...closes way too early. This is a hotel. Lounge should be open. But last night the people in the room above were pounding on their floor, Walking very heavily on the floor, back and forth until 1:30 am. They also decided to run their spa tub at 1am which makes a lot of noise.. Called desk. No.one working. Went down and left note. No response. Called desk at 10 am. They asked me if I wanted our room moved. Heck no. We are here for 4 nights. Tell the.people above us that this is an old inn where nice people come. They should go to motel 6 if they think they can keep people awake half the.night. Not acceptable.…
Loved this hotel the rooms were clean and had fireplaces and jacuzzi tubs and some rooms have balconies the bed was super comfortable they have a great bar and a patio in front with heaters to sit and have a drink everyone was very friendly and they had Kereg machines outside in the hallways I truly enjoyed my stay here and will definitely stay here again
My husband, his cousin and I had a reservation at 3 pm for brunch. When we arrIved at 3:00 pm, the hostess told us that she had sent us a message asking us to come in at 2:30 pm or at 4 pm. I told her that I had never received a text message. She then that she couldn’t remember if she had sent a text or a voice mail which led me to believe that she was lying. She then said that she was going to make an exception and sat us down. A few minutes later she came back and told us that the kitchen refused to cook for us and that we would have to wait until 4 pm to be served. I went to the hotel reception and asked the lady to speak to the manager. I was told that the manager was not there. A young teenager couldn’t be more than 17 years old and tried to explain that it wasn’t the hostess’ fault because she has only been at the job for two days. He was very disrespectful by calling me rude for complaining. I was not rude. We felt, and rightfully so, that we were treated without consideration and respect. We took our cousin to see the beautiful town of Lambertville and highly recommended your restaurant only to be embarrassed by the treatment received from your rude and classless employees specially from that teenager boy who had the audacity to treat me so disrespectfully. We live an hour and a half away from Lambertville and were really looking forward to a nice afternoon. This conduct is unacceptable. We will not recommend this restaurant . The staff needs to be taught to be more responsive to customers. No intention of coming here again after having dined here on a number of occasions. Sent from my iPhone…
In the past we spent here one of our wedding anniversaries and once it was our get-away place. The Lambertsville house creates a nice experience and seems to assure a pleasant stay. Its location is super with good access to the attractions on both sides of Delaware river.
Fresh ingredients!! Well prepared. Outdoor options. Clean. A nice evening spent having a cocktail with local fresh ingredients and a choice of well prepared fresh appetizers. A little pricey but nothing was lacking.
