We are minutes away from Monmouth Battlefield State Park, Rutgers at Brookdale Community College, Freehold Raceway, Freehold Raceway Mall, iPlay America, Turkey Swamp Park and Charleston Springs Golf Course. It’s only a short drive to the National Conference Center as well as Six Flags Great Adventure. Our guests can enjoy free Wi-Fi as well as a microwave, mini-refrigerator, iron and ironing board in every room. Pet Policy: One family pet not to exceed 80 pounds is permitted at no additional charge. Pet must be declared during registration and kept on a leash when outside guest room. Pets must never be left unattended in the guestroom and when you walk your pet please clean up after your pet. $50 deposit due at check-in for all guests.

The staff is soo rude. They watch everything you do. Everytime we saw the namaste woman. (That is all she said) she asked if we were checking out. She did this for 24 hours. ... Was told my dogs would be ok to be there, then when we got there they were not allowed. Together they weigh 12lbs. And one is 17 years old she doesn't know what is happening. So we were told to hide one. The day were were leaving the namaste woman asked if were checking out again. When I said yes she pushed her way passed me into the room to check the tip envelope.... then proceeded to tell me I forgot something. I didnt forget anything. I didnt tip because the room wasn't that clean to begin with and not only that you didn't clean the room for the 24 hours I stayed there. If you have any respect for yourselves, your safety and your wallet do not stay here. And here's a tip for namaste lady. Don't ever ask for a tip. Especially when you didnt work for it. …

The Red Roof was a very nice experience for us. The bed was comfortable and large. In the room we had a coffee machine and a fridge. Perfect for us. The room was clean and the staff was nice and friendly. We are kind of backpackers which of course is not optimal for staying at a motel. If you'd like to attract more people of our kind you could have more things to sell in your kiosk.

I will start by saying I am OCD when it comes to cleanliness and staying places. This place held up to my expectations. Very clean, the room was updated, had so many different things in the room to make stay better. Staff was friendly and helpful. And the price was great. Will stay again when in the area.

While some work is being done in our house, we needed an affordable pet friendly place to stay for 2 nights. We were very pleasantly surprised at how nice the room was. The beds had firm mattresses, clean crisp sheets and lots of good pillows. The bathroom was immaculate with a walk in shower featuring modern heavy glass sliding doors and good water pressure. There were big fluffy bath towels, the kind I would expect to find at a high end hotel. All staff (a family, I think) were professional and friendly. We would stay here again without any hesitation!

We regularly visit grandchildren in the area and for years we’ve been looking for a pleasant, affordable place to stay — without success, till now. The family-managed Red Roof Inn is a true Goldilocks motel, just right in all the right areas. The building has a little age on it, but all the rooms have been smartly redone to a high standard. The spacious step-in shower, with high quality sliding glass doors is the best I’ve seen at any price. The floors are immaculate wood and vinyl laminate, so lovely underfoot instead of the usual carpeting. The bed linens are crisp and modern. The refrigerator has a separate freezer compartment which was essential for us. Everyone is friendly and helpful. We’ve already booked our next stay.

Don't judge a book by it's cover. Very pleased with the room. It was clean, well maintained, and the staff was very friendly and helpful. It was reasonably priced. I was pleasantly surprised - the level of care far surpassed my previous experiences with Red Roof. I will highly recommend. Congrats to the management!

As a travel nurse for quite a number of years, I spend at least 10+ months of the year on the road. With motels and hotels my experiences are many and varied. On the recommendation of a colleague I gave the Red Roof Inn in Freehold a shot. The room was clean, the bed comfortable, and the amenities satisfactory. The woman who checked me in greeted me warmly and was very friendly. When I chose to extend my stay, the man (I believe his name was Don?) at the front desk was beyond helpful! For this current work assignment I was working the night shift, he went above and beyond to accommodate that and made my stay comfortable.

We just wanted a place to hang our hats while we visited our son for about 6 days. We were so tired when we got to the hotel. The place stunk so bad with deodorizing spray we could hardly breath and it burned our eyes. We complained to the front desk and he took the deodorizer out. To make a long store short...... the pillows were hard as rocks and very old.....the bed has a hole in the mattress and the floor was do dirty it ruined my new white socks. Needless to say we move to another hotel. And I couldn't wear my jammies because they stink like that room. The pictures of the hotel are very very deceiving

When checking into motel expland to the mgr we are in town on business we would be working night shift we go into motel at 635 am next morning at 1030 am got woken up to a loud leaf blower running wide open outside the door called front desk she said it was land scraper doing mowing. That finally stopped then 1100 am knocking at the door with do not disturb on the door now house keeping wanting the dirty towels . Do not stay here if you want any type of rest ….

We apologize your experience was anything less than completely satisfying. Our landscaper comes during normal business hours. We cannot guarantee any room against regular daytime noises such as landscapers. Our housekeepers normally do not knock on any door with a do not disturb sign. Perhaps it fell off or mistakenly was not placed on the door. We hope you will give us another opportunity to better serve you in the future.

The rooms are very clean and large. The beds are comfortable. The staff here are amazing! A husband & wife run and own the hotel, and they went above and beyond to do everything possible to accommodate me, and make sure I enjoyed my stay. They are really nice. Polite, friendly and professional. I would recommend anybody to stay at this Red Roof Inn. 5 stars…10 out of 10!!!!!!
