This was our first time staying here - they were very accommodating to provide the requested adjoining rooms and we were very pleased with them! Unfortunately, due to heavy rain, a portion of one ceiling began to leak. A phone call to the front desk...More
This is my second visit to this hotel as my husband has been in Columbia Presbyterian since 10/20/17. My first stay was over a week as he was transferred there from our local hospital up state. My second stay was last weekend for three nights....More
Rooms were clean but hotel is a bit outdated. Had a larger room which was "spacious" but there is no view. It is very close to GW bridge which was convenient for overnight stay. There is ample free parking.
The hotel was an older hotel and just on the other side of the George Washington bridge in New Jersey. The shower had some drainage problems but overall the room was very comfortable and the staff was very helpful. They answered all our questions for...More
Nothing spectacular about this hotel. Room was comfy. Black mold in tub dictated that we only stayed one night. Close to the GW bridge. Very convenient to get into the city.
Restaurant was sufficient for breakfast.
Staff was polite and mostly professional.More

Yikes! That is quite a hike AND across state lines! There really is no easy way other than car and it could cost you some $$$ because it is easily a 1 hour trip! More if there is traffic! You are going from Queens, NY to Fort Lee, NJ. I suggest you hire a car service and call around to get the best price. I have no idea what that would be and would be guessing anywhere from $50-$100. A metered cab could be a lot more because the meter ticks as you sit in traffic. The car service charges a flat rate regardless of traffic. Uber is another option but I have no idea what that would cost. (I just paid $17 to go 15 minutes in the Charlotte, NC area) AND you will have to tip the driver regardless of who picks you up. If you have the option of flying into Newark do it. It's 25 minutes to the hotel....
