I’m currently staying on-property, and there’s a very loud party happening in the inner courtyard. There is no answer at the front desk. For an upscale hotel that supposedly caters to working professionals, this is completely unacceptable. I will never stay here again.
Our rooms were stellar. Light and bright with a nice kitchen. First time at an Element and I’ll be back! Front desk was very friendly and helpful. Noelle was a gem! Also a nice little happy hours Mondays through Thursday evenings led by Amirah. Very nice lady!
First the toilet doesnt work so we go out for the evening and let hotel know before we leave come back same thing. End up having to move at 10pm after arguing for a working toilet. Water pressure is non existent. Breakfast supposed to be at 7am but that doesnt happen either. Oh and let me not forget the shades were cut and no way to draw the window shades.
I stayed at this location in March 2022. I had stayed at the Courtyard across the street three weeks earlier, so I tried the Element thinking it would be just as nice. I couldn't have been more wrong. First, I was unaware that this was an extended stay type location. It clearly shows that this is the case. The rooms are quite worn and bordering on shoddy. Walls are scuffed and show large scratches in the sheetrock. Doors show doorbells hanging loose from the wall. An outdoor window had a ripped screen blowing loosely in the wind. The trashcans at a side entrance overflowed with trash strewn on the ground. You can hear loud noise outside of your window late at night. Second, the wind-down offering was subpar. Don't expect anything great. While this was the case, I cannot say that they weren't trying to offer something nice. They were. The breakfast was good. The front desk personnel were nice and professional. The fitness center has potential. Overall, you pay a lot for a little, and you'll have to deal with rooms that leave a lot to be desired. This is really a 2-star location boasting a 3-star name. Marriott might want to reconsider.…
Good: the front desk staff were very nice and polite. Once we realized our AC and bathroom outlets weren't working, they fixed it immediately. The lobby is very nice, clean, modern. Check in was easy. The breakfast was nice. They kept the buffet filled well. Bad: the room was modern and updated in style, had a full kitchen - full size fridge, sink, dishwasher, utensils, etc. But it was so beat up. The floor, walls, especially the bathroom walls and floors were banged and the shower was pretty dingy. On first glance it seemed like a new hotel, then the rooms seemed like they were 10 years old. If you needed a quick overnight before a flight it would be ok. If you needed to stay longer I'd ask to make sure the room was updated.
I normally do not write reviews but after a bad night I had to share. The front desk staff was very nice. We were staying the night before an early flight out of TTN. Asked what time the pool was open until when I checked in only to be told that the pool has been closed since 2018. Why would it still be advertised as an amenity and pictures of it on website? Left my kids very disappointed. The bathroom had mildew and water did not get very hot. Loud groups in courtyard I had to call down and the front desk staff had to intervene. When finally able to get to sleep we realized the air did not work it was so hot in room with no air movement putting my daughter into an asthma attack.
I have given this hotel three chances. This was my final attempt. The following issues are from my most recent stay. First, we found leftover raw chicken in the refrigerator from the previous guest. While this is not the worst thing ever, it makes you wonder how well the room was cleaned if that was missed. After we were in the room a few minutes, we noticed a stink bug crawling on the wall. We disposed of it and then noticed several more crawling on the ceiling above the beds. I called the front desk and was told to come down and they would give us a new room. Upon, moving our stuff to the new room, we immediately realized we were given a room with one bed and no sofa bed. We went back to the front desk. The clerk was confused and said those were the only rooms they had. Eventually, another employee showed up and was able to move us into an appropriate room. The first employee had accidentally moved us to a handicap accessible room. Apparently, that room type does not have sofa beds. The third room was fine. We travel to this area a lot. While this hotel is one of the most reasonably priced in the area, I will not risk staying here again.…
We were going to stay for only one night and we ended up staying for 3. The room and the bathroom are super spacious, the beds were comfortable, everything was clean, except some little corners in the room… The room had a full kitchen, but we couldn’t make tea because the pan was dirty, but I didn’t bother ask the front desk for a clean one. The staff was always very nice! The only very negative about here is the breakfast, this was the saddest breakfast I have ever experienced, only a few cartons of chocolate milk, oranges and boxes of cereals. If it weren’t for the breakfast I would give 5 stars.
I travel a lot for work. At least 100 days out of the year I'm staying at a hotel. This hotel is one of the best hotels as far as value and service. The manager and owner are always accommodating my requests. The last time I stayed there which was last weekend I asked to check in at 8 am since I was driving all night. The staff immediately got me in a room. This is just one of many service requests that the staff has accommodated. The rooms are always clean and the staff are always friendly. I Definitely recommend this hotel.
We stayed at the Element Ewing over Columbus Day weekend. We were first saddened to learn that the pool was closed all weekend. We had come to take our 3 year old to Sesame Place on Saturday and go swimming at the hotel pool. It was disappointing to not learn it was closed until we arrived. Otherwise, we might have tried to stay somewhere else. The bigger issue came first thing Saturday morning when we tried to shower and found that the shower in our room did not work. We called the front desk about this and it took about 25 minutes for someone to come to look at it. They told us it was out of service and we had to switch rooms if we wanted to shower. We then had to pack up again and move rooms. As a result, we missed about an hour at Sesame Place and did not have time to shower. I mentioned our issues to the front desk on Sunday and the guys there were very nice but couldn't help. Despite being a loyal Marriot Gold member, they said only the manager, Amal Wright, could offer us some sort of compensation for all of our troubles. They said she would be in on Monday and they would share this issue with her. However, we did not hear anything back. I e-mailed and called and left a message but still nothing. Extremely disappointing. I would not recommend to anyone.…
