The staff at the front desk are very nice but unfortunately it’s not enough to have me return to this location. It has become very rundown since i last stayed here in july 17th…mattress needs to be replaced and rooms need to be deep cleaned. The coffee maker was so gross. The lock on the doir wasn’t real secure so i used the ironing board to barricade myself in for the night.
A friendly staff is the only positive I took away from my stay. No breakfast offered, website says there's a daily hot breakfast (with pictures) No daily room cleaning, website claims daily service. You have to go to front desk daily for any needs (example: towels, soaps, trash can liner bags). AC unit is loud, but at least works. Bathroom shower head has 2 settling: trickle or bee sting strong. Stains on room carpets. Needs major overhaul update to get to 3 star quality. It's a place to stay somewhat close to the AC activities that's about it.
Caviet this is during the pandemic. Pool was closed for the summer. One of the two elevators was out of order, making for long waits. We were there for three nights. The air conditioner was out of order. So the first night was hot. We were moved to a second room for the last two nights. Second room had no refrigerator. No daily housekeeping due to covid. Rooms wete both clean. Housekeeping was friendly. When we checked out they ran out to us in the parking lot as we had forgotten something in the room.
The hotel messed up our reservation (11/2018) and gave us a voucher for a free night stay, signed by the manager. There was no expiration date and only stipulation was not on black out dates or based up availability. I contacted the hotel to use the voucher for this Saturday night and was told via email "We no longer use or honor those coupon even when they were honored it never would have been able to be used on a weekend night. Sorry." I asked again why not and could i use it on a week night or get a discounted rate for a weekend night. Again I got a curt "No, I'm sorry" A complaint was filed with Consumer Affairs.
Impressed with the cleanliness of the room and bath as well as the building . Due to the pandemic there were services that were disrupted like no room service and no continental breakfast altho they did offer a grab bag breakfast. The only drawbacks for the money was no fridge in the room and the only ice maker was on the 3rd floor.
Upon arriving I was greeted by a very kind and professional staff person by the name of Marcus. I later found out he was a new staff person. Never the less he managed to answered all my questions very respectfully. Thank you Marcus!!! The room was clean and I did not experience any issues during my stay. I would definitely stay here again.
My daughter and I stayed at this hotel for a sporting event. It was supposed to be a two night stay but we left after the first day. Bathroom was falling apart (shower rod was held up by zip tie), there was hair embedded in all the towels, stuck to shower walls and even on the bathroom door. The mattresses had little cushioning with us able to feel all the springs. No comforters or blankets were provided. There was something that resembled paint or wax all over the headboards. At one point someone was actually smoking in the lobby and staff said nothing. Window was cracked and held together with duct tape. Very disappointing especially for the price!
Dec-2019 The staff were very approachable and helpful. The breakfast was good. They arranged for a taxi to pick us To go toTropicana. The room was very good with comfortable furniture and the bed was comfortable too. We would definitely stay here again.
Clean and friendly. Convenient to everything. Great price too! Please confirm with hotel directly if you decide to book through a 3rd party site. Breakfast was good. Check out was easy! Will definitely stay here again.
I’ve stayed here a few times in the past. The reason I chose it again as it includes breakfast and it was always good. This time it was horrendous. Bagels were hard as rocks. Danish were store bought prepacked baked goods. Bananas were past their prime. Vegan sausage was indescribable and burnt. Best thing was the hot coffee. But not the fake creamer they have. Do yourself a favor and head next door to Starbucks. Don’t get me wrong, hotel itself is clean and comfortable.
