We just spent 3 nights at this hotel while visiting the Jersey Shore. Our stay overall was very good.

When we checked in, the woman at the front desk gave us a warm welcome to the hotel. She gave us a nice 2 bedroom on the 4th floor. (Room 416) The room overall was very spacious and had a king bed in each bedroom. The beds were very comfortable as well, but definitely on the firmer side.

On the last day we were there, unfortunately someone smoked in the room next to us, and the strong smoke smell seeped into our room.

The front desk woman was so friendly and switched us to another 2 bedroom on the 4th floor. (Room 413) This room was perfect and had no musty smells or strong chemical smells. It was so pure.

I do have to say the hotel is very well maintained, and the air is very crisp inside. The upkeep of this place is phenomenal.

If I ever return to the Jersey Shore, this will be my go-to place to stay!! I highly recommend this hotel.

Also, I want to thank the staff for wearing masks, and following all of the appropriate COVID cleaning procedures. You all are doing a great job!! Keep it up!

PROS:
1. Large, clean and well decorated room – no bugs. Plenty of room to lay out your suitcases.
2. Kitchen with microwave, refrigerator, dishwasher, toaster, pots, pans, dishes, and silverware.
3. The sink is outside of the bathroom – convenient for two people getting dressed in the morning.
4. Large counter space around sink.
5. Desk & chair, sectional, and meal table with 2 chairs, in room.
6. Free Wi-Fi in room.
7. Safe in room.
8. Indoor pool, however, no jacuzzi.
9. Free hot breakfast.
10. Many places to shop nearby.
11. Short drive to Atlantic City and other Jersey Shore towns.

CONS:
1. No shuttle service between hotel and Atlantic City Airport or Philadelphia Airport.
2. There is no door between the sink area (which is outside of the toilet/shower room) and the sleeping area (bed).
3. Dining area where you get your free breakfast is too small for the size of the hotel.
4. View: Not much to see out your window.
5. On-site parking - $10.00 daily.

PRO or CON (depending upon your special needs):
1. Pets allowed.
2. All rooms are smoke free.

Recommendation: You won’t be disappointed if you stay here. Highly recommend.

This is a terrific hotel to stay in during these weird times. Tons of space, your own kitchen to keep food, and free parking. The location was perfect for work and its easy to get to surrounding towns or AC if you need to.

The only issues I had were in the bathroom. The towels were like sandpaper and while I get this isn't a JW Marriott, they were abnormally bad. Also the fan in the bathroom sounded like a bus engine, so that could be looked at. The shower had great water pressure and there was tons of hot water so that was what really matters.

I’m so disappointed in the fact that they are able to use the Marriott name. Where do I start? Believe the reviews when they say this place is not a good option-stay somewhere else. So many things to start with. First off, the noise level is TERRIBLE! Do not call the front desk and complain because it’s actually turned around on you like you have no business complaining about kids running above your head and stomping and loud booms and falling all day and night! I encountered such rudeness at the front desk that it makes you wonder if they were ever trained to understand the core values of being a Marriott employee and upholding the name? I was a child once and I was NEVER allowed to run through anywhere let alone hotel rooms and hallways. However as an adult guest, a paying adult guest, you are entitled to a clean room and comfort in a relaxed environment. Let’s get to the comfort and room. The bed is awful and the pillows offer no support whatsoever. I came here for R&R and left with back, neck aches, indigestion and constipation! The worse mattress ever like it will put you in the ER if you lay on it too long! The only positives were the restaurants in the area that delivered. Johnny D’s and Chido Burrito! Timely deliveries, amazing food and even better customer service! They bring the delivery directly to you room! Back to the hotel. I prepaid for the room with a debit card in full and at check in, I presented a credit card for the incidentals hold. Why is the hold amount on the debit card and not the credit card like I asked? Good thing I’m not in a financial bind I would be a nervous wreck having checks out. At any rate, I discovered the misstep the night before checking out and called the front desk to inquire. The gentleman was so nasty. I am polite as the customer and he has the nerve to be nasty like he is the client that had the issue. I just shook my head. I won’t be back and I will let Marriott Corp know these folks are messing up what they stand for. Don’t come here!

Beware that this property should not be carrying a Residence Inn flag, as Marriott needs to step up their quality control. Be prepared to enter a property that is badly in need of renovation. The management/ownership group has clearly avoided any investment, much less seen the need for any level of sweat equity. My guess it is owned by a REIT.

The property is conveniently located near the Garden State Parkway, and there are several restaurants and a big Walmart across the street.

That said, here is a list of the issues with this hotel.

1. Garbage from the previous guests was on the floor.
2. The carpeting in the hallways was absolutely filthy. Despite the dark color of the threadbare hall carpeting, it was obvious that the management team has not attempted to clean the carpet for a very long time.
3. The room itself was desperately in need of renovation. The bath tile was cracked, the furniture chipped, the carpet was filthy, only one dinner plate, etc.
4. Marriott should disclose to guests the ownership structure of its properties, as I no longer trust their quality control. The GM should be required to sign off the condition of a room before they open it to new guests, as I would stand a better chance of not seeing previous guests garbage in my room.
5. The pricing on this room entitles a guest to a decently appointed room which has been properly cleaned. When I see someone else’s garbage on the floor, I have no confidence in the ability of the staff.

After a very long drive we were warmly greeting by reception staff and checked into our suite. This hotel is convenient to the highway, clean & comfortable. In the evening they serve light buffet & soft drinks that were very good & saved us from driving out to a restaurant. Staff was professional & helpful. An excellent choice.

My family and I have been a loyal Marriott customer for my entire life.
We stayed at this hotel for a family vacation. It was a good experience UNTIL the last night when we heard an obnoxious ruckus (like a party) going on the floor below us. We called at secretary/manager at 4AM about this disturbance, and the hotel said they will look into it. Instead of checking out the issue, they just made a phone call to the room, who of course denied making any noise.
Consequently, we did not sleep at all that night, which affected our entire day.

In the morning, we spoke to Maria, the 'manager' at the time. She told us the only way she can compensate for our negative experience was w/ 15,000 points. This was an issue because the room stay was worth 25,000-35,000/night, so we did not think it was sufficient. Maria told us to call on Monday to speak to GM Briane Skene. So I left a voicemail for him that day, no word with no points noted on my account. I opened a case on Tuesday with customer service, being told that GM has 24 hours to get back to me. The points were noted on Wednesday.
I called customer service again on Thurs. The supervisor of Loyalty department was not able to help me because the 15,000 points were actually issued as well as case was 'resolved' even though it wasnt.

This entire experience left a nasty aftertaste and changed my perspective on Marriott. You would think that will try to keep customer happy, but that is not the case.
I will NEVER stay with another Marriott property ever again, esp this one.

I suggest checking out Hilton hotel for your stay :)

Recently stayed at this Residence Inn for 5 days while up in NJ for a family thing. The location of the hotel was nice as there are several restaurants and a super Walmart within walking distance. The young lady who checked us in was very pleasant and efficient, and got us on our way quickly. We had a one bedroom suite with a full kitchen. The room was nicely laid out and a decent size. The bathroom probably could use a little updating and a deep clean especially around the vent area, but the rest of the room was clean and very nice. They serve a breakfast in the morning, but you'd be better off going out somewhere (or making your own in the room). We went to the Shore Diner which was within walking distance and the breakfast was good. They also have an indoor pool at this location, however it was closed the whole time we were there which was really disappointing. The pool would have been nice at the end of the day after working all day on my sisters house. Checkout was easy, we just texted them when we left and the bill was sent to the email. Overall, it was a decent stay and I would stay there again when in the area.

The reception and welcome from Jessica was outstanding. This lady delivers warm, personable hospitality. Jessica carefully selected the suite location choice and blocked it during a pre-arrival phone call. Our late arrival (Mid-Night) was honored and the arrival went smoothy.

Every request made to the housekeeping staff was promptly delivered with a smile. As a former hotelier I was impressed with the quality of service.. no request was ignored and all quickly responded to delivered with a gracious smile.

Our stay was for 10 nights over the Labor Day weekend. We did have an opportunity to experience the hotel in depth. First, this was one of our few journeys since COVID began so much has changed in the industry as a whole. This property is well maintained and exceptionally clean. The footprint of the property with multiple access doors requires some adjustment, but once made it is generally easy to park near the closest access to your room.

Great location for shopping and the airport. The Walmart across the street is very busy but convenient. The noise level is tolerable.

Property Review - The best way to describe it would be "Retro 60's" The decor package desperately needs an upgrade. However, it is well maintained and clean. The property gets a lower rating for "noise" intrusion.. There was a frequent thumping of foot traffic from the suite above, leaving us somewhat dismayed at the lack of sound insulation between floors. Several times alarms, not ours, startled us awake thinking they were "fire alarms " around 4am, only after a call to the desk, we learned they must just be clock alarms from nearby rooms. The property is heavily occupied by workers in the area I was told.

The beds were exceptional and very comfortable and the pillows and linen the same. The kitchen area was a little "light" in basic supplies but sufficient. Upon arrival "Midnight" the room smelled of an odor.. perhaps "fish having been cooked" and the front desk came to spray which did temporarily mask the odor. The odor persisted throughout our stay but only a minimal distraction. We found the TV's small and hard to view from anywhere in the suite. In a world of large home TV's these were the size of a computer monitor. (Back to a need for an upgrade)

I bought show tickets for one of the Atlantic City casinos. I thought it would be nice to stay over for a few nights and travel to other nearby shore towns. I chose this hotel because of its central location to the highway, to Atlantic City, to Ocean City, and because it’s pet friendly. The hotel lobby is nice-there’s a fireplace and a seating area. The elevators were quick all hours of the day/night. It’s probably because it’s only a 4 floor hotel. We chose a 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom room which included a living room and kitchen. It was really nice having space. The hotel was clean and quiet. There’s a shopping center across the street which had places such as Starbucks, Texas Roadhouse, and Walmart. In the other direction, there’s a Wawa with a gas station. I’ll most likely stay here again. I recommend it.

I would say it's safe to leave your car, but there is also about 3 Airport parking lots down the street from the hotel.

1. There is wired internet in the guest rooms. 2. This depends on the time of year. July and August the casino bus runs every day. All other months the shuttle runs only Friday and Saturdays. Starts at 5pm on Friday. However this is a Casino operated shuttle and schedule can change with very little notice. I suggest call the hotel close to the date of arrival for the schedule.
