Yvonne, Eric, Tara , Barbara, I hope that I didn't leave anyone out. All good people! Courteous, professional, accommodating. The place is clean and comfortable. Not the Marriott, but I say ☆☆☆☆ .....
Yvonne was great. I had a few issues with getting in my room and she was not hesitant to help me with every little thing. Offered all the help she could. As well as leaving me with saying I could call her for help at any time. She is the best!
Ive been to many hotels and motels. This is a welfare motel in need of dire repair. Everything smelled like smoke, the br door was broken, holes in the wall, filthy, smoke detector torn down. By all definitions a flea bag motel. Cough up some extra money and stay in a nice place. Everything about this place is gross. You have been warned
Booked through priceline.com, photos and "verified" reviews seemed ok, it was just for one night (we weren't expecting a 5 star resort, just a place to sleep and shower. It was the closest to the venue we were going to). Biggest mistake. We checked in, dropped our bags off and went to our event. Returned and realized we COULD NOT stay in the room (it was midnight at this point.) It smelled terrible (but claimed to be a non-smoking room, never did quite pinpoint the smell, but it wasn't something to be ignored.) The AC sounded like it was about to die, loudly. Peeling paint and plaster, 1 plastic hanger from who knows where, dirty microwave, holes in the bathroom door and walls (in various states of "kind of patched"), bars on the bathroom windows, dingy, old and not well kept (two colors of caulk used on the bathroom floor to repair something but was messy and everywhere, the three switch light switch missing 1 switch leaving a hole, toilet and toilet seat moved, seat was so worn the particle board was showing through on the seat and lid, sink had multiple cracks filled with worn in dirt, the list goes on) broken dresser and a single, torn up chair. A car parked in the spot next to ours had a flat tire and was accumulating debris around it - they hadn't just parked and gotten that flat. There is a front door and a back door to the room (this might have been the most concerning part, two doors both with daylight showing around the edges). The back door is "in" the bathroom and leads to the outside, not an adjoining room. The key card didn't work on the "back" door which lead to the parking lot which was behind the building. The staff at check in was fine, but nothing prepared us for what the room was. We abandoned it and checked into another hotel a town over. The area around the motel is very nice, not sure how this happened in that well kept area, but I would NOT recommend anyone stay here.…
We always enjoy staying here when going to the beaches. Tina always remembers us by name and always greets us with a happy smile. The rooms are always clean and well appointed. Bed is always comfortable. Bathroom clean with good shower pressure. The outside pool and grounds are always spectacular. Grass and shrubs always trimmed. Pool water is crystal clear. Lots of families. Very affordable and comfortable. We've been staying at the Crystal Inn for the last 5 or 6 years now and will keep going back. Plenty of restaurants nearby also.
