I stayed at Camp Taylor for a weekend camping in July. I had planned some biking and hiking activities nearby and it was very conveniently located to the trails. In fact they have a private access right from the CG to a great trail up to the woods road on Mt Tammany. I had heard some negative reviews about Camp...

Cannot comment on summer experience, but Fall is awesome! Read a lot of reviews before booking and turned out to be everyone's favorite camping experience so far. Amazing thing is, this is by no means a resort campground. Went to hike and see the Lakota Wolf preserve since my daughter loves wolves. Decided to reserve the back corner sites based...

Arriving was easy thanks to the good directions which are needed. The check in area is a bit cramped for anymore then a few checking in at a time. The staff is efficient and friendly. It has a small campstore with the basics and no refrigerated items that I could see so bring what you need with you. The town...

I just stayed at Camp Taylor for the second time. It's a terrific campground. Most of the sites are spacious and laid out so that campers aren't too on top of one another. The staff is very friendly and will work with you to find a site that suits your needs. RVs, cabins and glamping tents are available in addition...

My husband wanted to take me to see my favorite “animal” Wolves at the Lakota Wolf Preserve in Columbia NJ and we were looking at Campgrounds nearby starting with Camp Taylor right next to it. I started by looking at reviews, but when in doubt with some reviews I do dig deeper. I am glad I did. We did a...

The male cousins on my mother's side began a tradition of camping together. Most of us have had some involvement with Boy Scouts and thought it would be a great way to hang out as a group. We rented three campsites to accommodate the group of nine of us. The sites were all relatively flat areas of gravel. Each site...

Worst campsite I ever camped at. The owner was very rude, ignorant, totally disrespectful to my 83 year old handicap father. I advise you not to camp there. No swimming pool, outhouse floors where flooded and there is bears there.

Owners were rude to my family. We are an interracial couple. We complained about two seasonal campsites that were flying the confederate flag. The owners became angry because we complained and denied it was the Confederate flag. We will not go back. I certainly would want to know this before I went to a campground where I would have to...

We are glad you enjoyed our campground and are sorry you feel you can’t return. We understand the wide spread discussion of this flag is a direct result of the horrific shooting of nine people in Charleston. The event was evil and hateful and should never be forgotten. Hopefully people will put their focus on the goodness and love those...

My children and I really enjoyed this campsite and will probably visit again in the future. Site - We stayed at #64 and loved it. The sites are small compared to other places that we have stayed, but there is a small creek that runs right behind the site. The sound of the water running over the rocks was so...

This is the first time we stayed at a campground. Staff was very nice. The bbq grill and firepit were great. A lot of private space at our trailer campsite, with a great deal of trees and bushes. Great water pressure in the shower. Plenty of storage. The only minus: the queen bed mattress wasn't very comfortable, the twin beds...
