A little bit of heaven. That is how I think of the Gingerbread House. My husband ,son and I , looked online 10 years ago for bed and breakfasts that would allow children. Our son was then 5. Since then, we have returned every year. Fred and Joan have become like our favorite aunt and uncle. They work tirelessly to...

Great B&B. Impeccably kept, beautiful house, friendly owners, good food and great service. The place is only a block from the beach. The furniture and decor is lovely. They obviously put a lot of love into this house. And Fred and Joan are two of the sweetest people you'll meet. Joan even helped us take our luggage in from the...

Fred and Joan are great hosts in their warm and inviting home. Fred's exceptional woodworking skills are evident throughout the home and Joan's gardening and decorating style added to our delightful stay in Cape May. A bonus is the great location of this bed and breakfast; half a block from the beach, a few blocks from a great outdoor mall...

We have stayed here a couple times and love it. One block to the beach and a short walk to the mall. The house is charming. The owner's, Joan and Fred are very friendly and helpful with finding the best attractions and restaurants. The food is great and the house is extremely clean. I can't wait to go back.

The house was absolutely beautiful! Joan and Fred were extremely hospitable to all the couples that stayed in this B&B making sure we were comfortable and had anything that we needed. The location of the house was ideal - 1/2 block from the ocean and about 2 blocks to the center of town. Definitely want to return and soon! Loved...

Am AMAZED that this is so, as HOW CAN YOU IMPROVE ON SUCH PERFECTION??!! Joan & Fred - the owners - have always made my stays so wonderful and unique, that THOSE tymes...

Joan and Fred, with the help of the delightful McKinley, go out of their way to make guests comfortable in their inn, which they have restored with obvious care and pride. The house is pristine, and the home-cooked breakfasts are excellent. Their warmth and generosity make this a place we hope to return to soon.

We are returning guests to the Gingerbread House - I'm almost losing count of our visits. We could not think of staying anywhere else in Cape May. We chose the Gingerbread House to celebrate our recent (May 26) and past Wedding Anniversaries. We have been to Cape May for all the seasons and for the first time in the Winter;...

Beautiful, quaint rooms in a gorgeous B & B! The breakfast is wonderful every morning! The service is impeccable every time we have stayed with Joan & Fred at Gingerbread House. You can tell they really enjoy their guests & enjoy opening up their home to us & their other guests. Thank you again for a great time!
