Thoroughly enjoyed our one night stay at the Gingerbread House! Friendly and warm hospitality that will bring us back. Joan and Fred treated us like old friends. Close to beach, restaurants, and shopping. We recommend the Gingerbread House for your next visit to Cape May!

Stayed at the Gingerbread House with my daughter and grandsons and had the best time ever. Location provides easy walking to beach and all activities. The room was gorgeous with a front porch and large bath. Joan made us feel like family. Fred's detailed trim work and their enhancements show how the owners cherish this Victorian beauty. Will return to...

Joan and Fred always make you feel like you are at home. The Gingerbread House was the very first Bed & Breakfast place we ever stayed at. Through the years we have stayed at others as we traveled but no one beats Joan and Fred. We've been coming for years and will continue to do so.

Everyone was lovely and went out of their way to make my kids feel welcome. The accommodations were very clean. They provided everything we needed for the beach (chairs, towels and beach passes). We were...

We don't get a lot of time-off to take vacations, so when we do get away, we set our expectations high. We were extremely pleased with choosing this wonderful B&B! From the very first interaction with the inn-keepers, Joan & Fred, we felt so welcome and comfortable. They were so organized, accommodating and friendly. We traveled with our 9 year...

From the moment we walked through the door, I felt that we were a part of the "family". So well restored and decorated and the breakfasts were amazing. The thing that really...

For the second time in two years we spent a few days at The Gingerbread House. We just love feeling right at home, thanks to the friendliness and hospitality of Fred and Joan, as well as McKinley, their helper. The house in a perfect locale - a short walk to the beach, wonderful restaurants, and the "mall". All kinds of...
