We spent a weekend at Puffin in early September. We were concerned because some of the earlier reviews on this site were unfavorable, however we had a great time! The rooms are clean, there is a couple on-site (living in one of the apartments) to help you with any questions or concerns, and the place is kid-friendly! (many B&B's are...

My husband, and I stayed in the "The Holly". We have stayed at the "Puffin" before, so we knew what to expect. We love the location to the beach, shops, restaurants, etc. Our room was very clean and our bed was so comfortable that I could of slept all day, but of course, there were lots of other things to...

As the maid of honor, I was in charge of setting up a Cape May bachelorette weekend. I booked via the Puffin Inn directly after much searching on the web, resulting in some limited choices. Sandy (who booked the reservation) was very pleasant--something I did not encounter with several of the B & B's in Cape May (such as the...

Spent an off-season week in the new Terrace Suite with my 5 and 8 year old. Very child-friendly apartment with a kitchenette and full bath. I found it very helpful to have a fridge and kitchen so we didn't have to eat out all the time. The location is great! We could literally walk to everything in town. The front...

I wish I read the reviews before I went. The owners seriously misrepresented our apartment and didn’t care when we complained. We rented "The Rose" suite. We repeatedly asked for photos and were told the apartment was brand new and they didn’t have any but don’t worry it sleeps 5 and there was a living room, 2 bedrooms and a...

Stayed in the Atlantic Suite with the rooftop deck. Great view of the town and ocean. Quaint front porch for people watching and relaxing. The location is perfect....parked the car and walked to everything. Would highly recommend.

While the location is most certainly ideal (near promenade, beach, restaurants, arcade) and the suite spacious, our stay was riddled with the kinds of problems you do not want to have on what's supposed to be a relaxing vacation with family. First, the place was swarming with ants...inside and on the porch (after other guests had left a few crumbs...

Ever since the Puffin was sold and new owners took over, the quality of their service is TERERIBLE. For a business that is built on relationships, the Puffin has sunk to the bottom of my list. As someone who came back to the Puffina year after year, I will be finding another place to stay in Cape May!!! I cannot...

We just returned from four great days in Cape May and The Puffin is the place to stay if you are vacationing with children. We stayed in the Main Quarters, a two bedroom apartment on the ground floor. With children ages 3, 5 and 7 we found the apartment gave us plenty of room to spread out including a private...

The location of the Puffin is indeed great. The patio and outdoor shower and grill are a nice touch. The 3rd floor Atlantic Suite has a full kitchen, nice living room, and private deck, but the 2nd bedroom is only a nook big enough for the double bed up against the wall. Fine for a child/teenager not an adult. There...
