The Peter Shields Inn is one of the best places to stay in Cape May. The hospitality and accommodations are first rate. The staff makes you feel welcome and right at home in this beautiful facility. The amenities are everywhere from the wine & cheese in the afternoon, to the cookies, snacks and drinks in the hospitality room to the...

This bed and breakfast is across the street from a beautiful beach. Chairs are available for your use. Rooms are clean, comfortable and quiet. We were a little disappointed that we were on the third floor with the dormers so you had to walk up to the window to see the ocean. The reception with wine was nice as was...

The Peter Shields Inn is hands down the best place to stay and dine in Cape May. Outstanding service and quality in everything they do. We stayed two weeks and they made us feel like family. We will be returning every year.

There is nothing to dislike about this inn: the oceanfront location, beautiful rooms, friendly and helpful staff, wine and cheese time, free bikes and beach chairs, and delicious breakfast are awesome. We loved everything about this place. The food is rated number 1 in Cape May for good reason: incredible beef, seafood, and desserts. Service is excellent.

The rooms at PSI were very inviting and clean. Our room had a fireplace and a Jacuzzi which added great ambiance. The staff were very helpful and friendly and the breakfast is one of the best ones I've had at a Bed and Breakfast. The location of this property is great. It is across the street from the beach and...

This Inn is as good...better then it looks on its website. Beautiful building that is well maintained and very clean. The decor is a great mix of old and 'new'. The staff was very pleasant and hospitable. The amenities were great: wine an cheese time, snack room, gas fireplace in room, etc. Breakfast was delicious! As a bed and breakfast...

Getting through the last exit on the highway duplicates the anticipation of a trying a new inn. Perfectly away but not far from town in the quiet part of Beach Avenue, this is not the branded victorian style but more of soft hues and crisp white and its exterior owning a beautiful porch overlooking the ocean. 2 minutes to the...

The inn itself has lots of charm, quirks of an old home and it decorated with a mix of old with new coastal decor. We stayed in room 6 which may bother some taller guests due to the sloped roof line, but it was part of the charm for us. I also liked that we had a room on the...

We had a lovely stay at PSI for our milestone anniversary. Danielle and all the staff were friendly, accommodating and ever-present. Our room was quaint and well-appointed, including a clean and pretty bathroom; the room was small, but that is what I expected in an older Victorian. That's part of the charm, and we didn't go to Cape May to...
