I goofed and actually made my reservation for yesterday when showed up for what we thought were our reservation for this evening they found us a table even though they were booked. Service and food were awesome, the only downside is it a BYOB. If you are a foodie it's a must visit

Wow if you can wrangle a reservation at the Peter Shields Inn and restaurant, do so! I spent the night in a lovely room that was quiet and beautiful. The bathroom was fabulous. Of course the best part about this lovely inn and restaurant is the incredible food. I don't give 5 stars easily, but this establishment is well deserving.

We hadn't realized it was restaurant week in Cape May when we booked our reservation. What a great meal! We were given a corner table , thus allowing both of us to face the restaurant . Our waitress , Harriet , was efficient, friendly and helpful. The meal was sumptuous and beautifully presented. I had wagyu steak tartare, the most...

We do love the Peter Shields Inn! It is beautifully appointed, and we love the amenities. There is a wine and cheese reception for guests to meet each other, the breakfast is delicious, and the ability to use their bicycles, beach gear, and bathrooms after check out is a plus for staying there. The only reason I do not give...

Danielle is so attentive! She makes you feel very welcomed! The grounds are immaculate. It reminds me of the seaside in England. We were right next to the beach, and you can hear the ocean roaring. The breakfast was delicious and hearty!

This place exceeded our expectations with it's reasonable priced rooms (given the area) decor and hospitality. However, I was up until 1 am hearing moving and shuffling occurring every 3-4 minutes. We were going to mention something to the front desk given that the place was not an inexpensive stay. That is until we discovered that the inn is haunted....

We have been coming to Cape May for years and we have finally found a B&B that we can call "Home". From the moment we walked thru the door, we felt like family. Each of the rooms has such a special feel to them. The B&B has been renovated however they were able to keep the charm of the original...

Wonderful B&B. Rooms are beautiful and extremely comfortable. Breathtaking views from every corner. Architecture is wonderful and most of the nooks and crannies ate the same as it was 100's of years ago . Love the freedom to take an easy bike ride to shopping or a couple of towels and chairs to the beach (bikes /chairs/towels provided at no...

Stayed at the Peter Shields Inn for four days and three nights. The stay was great all around. The accommodations, the service, the staff, the food were all great. All this made our mini-vacation perfect.
