First the good: it's practically on the beach. Lots of ocean views. Small free parking lot enough for the guests. Quaint, cute. The maid did a nice job. It has a large balcony, covered; it was nice during the rain and had a decent view - see the photo. But it appears some rooms are in better shape. Ours (room...

My husband and I were married in Cape May last year and have visited a couple of times per year for the past two years. Having visited quite a few beaches in the northeast, this is by far our favorite. It's a quaint, historic town with Victorian charm. It's full of bed and breakfasts, locally owned one of a kind...

This was our first time staying at the Kings Cottage. We have stayed in all types of accommodations in Cape May over the years, some good, some not so good. Kings Cottage is a true Cape May Victorian experience. We loved the on site parking and short walk to the beach. Rosemary, one of the inn keepers was very nice...

Positives: Excellent location near beach, shops, restaurants and bars. Continental breakfast was fine and adequate (but most B&Bs pride themselves on a more extensive breakfast with hot food choices) Negatives: The entire property, inside and out, looks like it is falling apart. The landscaping is awful and mostly just dying plants and shrubs. Paint is peeling, wicker furniture is coming...

We stayed at the Kings Cottage for an early weekday get away in June. We have never stayed in a bed and breakfast before, but it was a last minute plan, and there were not many options so we decided to try a new adventure. We were pleasantly surprised, and enjoyed our stay! The place is clean and neat, though...

The location of this historic B&B designed by Frank Furness and decorated with intriguing antiques is ideal. The innkeepers are full of fun stories and the muffins are memorable. I felt like I was traveling back to a charming time in history. The shops and restaurants are just steps away. The beach is across the street. Parking is a plus!

I had a last minute opportunity to spend a night in Cape May, NJ and was fortunate to be able to stay at King's Cottage. It is a vintage seaside cottage in the Victorian style and the beach is just two doors down and across the street. As befits a "cottage" that has provided accommodations to seaside visitors for more...

Third time staying at Kings Cottage but first time in the summer. Room was spotless and charming. Air conditioner did not work, spoke with the innkeeper and immediately was given a new air conditioning unit which made the room nice and cool. Got to enjoy the nice sunporch and outside porch which gets a great breeze from the ocean in...

My husband and I booked a couple of nights here to recover after the death of our beloved dog. It was just what we needed. There is an easygoing, casual vibe here. The location is perfect....steps to the beach and a short block to town. They have beach towels, chairs and umbrellas for guests to use. I would definitely stay...

We love the great location because you are less than 1 block from the beach, restaurants and downtown. The Cottage takes you back in time. You can see the ocean from the Cottage. Barbara, one of the owners, makes you feel like this is your own home. Also, Barbara gives you a lot of information about Cape May and places...
