Girls weekend. What more could you ask for. Ocean views, pool with restaurant service and a full dining room with excellent menu. Love this place. Everyone is friendly and place is spotless. Requested wine glasses for room and were delivered under a half hour. They really aim to keep you happy

Took the family down to LBI for the Memorial Day weekend. First time we've all been to Beach Haven (I was there 25 years ago). We could only spare a few days and though we would have preferred 2 nights, their minimum for the holiday weekend was 3 nights, which is actually much better than most resort areas for such...

Stayed one night for a wedding close by. Room was clean and convenient to everything we needed. Did not have an ocean view but we were close enough to walk on the beach. A little pricey but that may be because of the convenience to the ocean. Would definitely recommend and stay there again.

Came for a weekend with friends, spent a fortune, would say it was okay. Doubt if I would hit the Restaurant again, very basic fare, and again, okay but very pricey. Better off at the poolside bar. We know folks need to pay a bit more to stay at the shore, but I'd say this was too much for what...

Spent another week at the Engleside Inn with our dogs, Kayla and Sam. The weather wasn't the best but we were away from home and with our dogs. Each spring and fall we spend a week at the Engleside Inn and everyone is so friendly. We had room service from the restaurant and the steaks for superb! The town was...

I stayed 5/10/14 in a suite. One large, comfortable bed with thick bedding and two couches that were pull-out beds. The room was no "ocean front" or advertised as "ocean view" but it did have a small view of the ocean from the inside and a decent view from the immediate balcony, which I appreciated. By the end of the...

Pretty much everything on this island is closed up in winter but went for a get-away and it's open in off season. Stayed the night. Clean rooms. Had dinner in their restuarant and the steak was good but not great. Pricey but it's LBI so I kept things in context.

We have stayed at the Engleside for 5 years now and we love it. It has a great pool, a poolside bar that serves food and drinks, and easy beach access. The rooms are pretty nice for a beach hotel on the Jersey shore, although the suite we had this past year was a little musty smelling. Tip: don't pay...

Making our way from Boston to DC, we sought a nice place for one night - and thought it would be good to leave our tourist dollars with local establishments hit by Hurricane Sandy a year ago. We decided to try for Beach Haven on Long Beach Island. To our dismay, however, all the small B&B's had closed for the...

We wanted to go to the beach for a few days and had trouble finding hotels on the Jersey Shore that let you bring dogs. This place did and we got a deal if you stayed 3 nights the fourth night was free and no pet fee! Unbelievable, some places charge up to $30 a dog a night (we have...
