I had reserved a poolside room for 2 nights a week before we arrived. At the time of booking I had called and I was told by the Staff that it didn't matter whether I booked it on line or by phone, so I proceeded to book it on-line and received an email confirmation. When I arrived for my stay,... More

On June 17 we made a confirmed reservation for a poolside room for 5 nights beginning August 3. We received a confirmation number and email confirmation. On August 2 we called to make sure we were ok for late arrival. They had no record of our reservation ( even though I could bring it up on their website still showing... More

We've passed the Mariner Inn on Long Beach Boulevard for years on our way to rental vacation homes. But this year we weren't able to spend a full week, just a few days on the island so we needed a motel for a few nights. Glad I decided on the Mariner. The room was very clean, especially the bathroom which... More

I have to be honest. I am a huge fan of the Spray Beach Inn.. which is owned by the same people. When we visit family/friends in New Jersey, we typically stay oceanfront (see my reviews of the Spray Beach Inn). Just last month we found ourselves having to make an emergency trip to the area due to an illness... More

Desk staff wonderful. Told us we could still use the pool and beach after we checked out, and provided a bathroom for us to use. The rooms were very clean. The bathroom had recently been redone. The place has a yesteryear family vibe which we enjoyed. Guests can use all the amenities at the Sea Spray Inn which has a... More

This is our 3rd year coming here. A very nice clean motel. Very friendly staff, rooms are immaculate and in a great location. We only stay for Friday, and we check into our house Sat, but very nice friendly staff. LOVE THIS PLACE!

This hotel was the best hotel I have been in, in a long time. Dolores, Melissa and Donna can not help enough for directions, places to each and great places to visit while on the island. The room was superior and super clean. The service to the rooms is spectular! And, like I said, the front desk did everything it... More

This is our second visit to the Mariner. For Long Beach Island, it without a doubt deserves the 4 stars I've given it. On LBI there isn't much to choose from when it comes to motels. The choices are expensive, old, usually moldy motel rooms. There are no hotels. You can rent a house or condo and there are a... More

Over all this is a nice & clean place to stay. Loved having a private balcony and the pool was wonderful! Staff was very friendly and the cleaning staff kept the room clean. The only complaint I have is the mattresses were extremely hard and our backs couldn't take more then the 3 day stay. Even our 17 yr. old... More

Just what we were looking for...clean room, frig and microwave, firm bed, lots of towels, modern bathroom, powerful a/c, friendly staff. We stayed on the road side. Not a nice view from the balcony, but that's not what we were there for anyway. Pool looked well maintained. Our only gripe was the fuzzy reception on the TV.
