We stayed here for a conference that was held in the same building. The rooms were comfortable, while small. I had a hard time finding coffee in the morning which was distressing but the cook in the kitchen gave me some. The conference was held downstairs and to be honest I felt it was really tight quarters. The noise in...

My husband, age 79 and I, 69, made reservations on Expedia for 2 nights in June to attend a family reunion in Tamworth. Expedia claimed the hotel was 12 miles from Tamworth. Policy stated reservations were non-refundable, but this didn't appear to be a problem, place looked good, and close enough that we wouldn't have to drive after dark, as...

The Hotel website draws a great image of the hotel, however, reality is quite different. The hotel is outdated, service is quite low, reception personnel is bored, rooms are smelly, beds are uncomfortable and no window curtains (just flimsy and very cheap venitian "blinds" that are so thin that by 5 o'clock the room is very bright). When we checked...

My wife and I had an awful time finding a place to stay during this past motorcycle weekend at Laconia (June 2014). We were blessed to have found one of the best for a decent price. Some on this site have quoted that the look is dated - from the outside, that may be true. However, on the inside we...

Yes, the Inn is a bit outdated but you can't beat the location and price. Reception was very friendly and even offered us a room upgrade! Everything was very clean and quiet, even though there were a few bus loads of groups visiting. We were able to park the car and then enjoy many trails in the area as well...

Don't expect an updated facility. Take a step back into time and pretend you're in the 70s. The rooms were clean and spacious. The inn is roomy lots of space to wander ,areas to sit. The continental breakfast was a joke, only served stale muffins and donuts. Beautiful views from your room and from the lobby. It appeared there was only...

I like the spacious room, nice lobby and fireplace. Great wood beams and high ceilings. Breakfast in am is only coffee, juice, donuts, and muffins that are not great. Good breakfast downstairs onsite that is of good quality and saves time to get out on slopes in morning. You have to pay for this extra - off menu. Indoor pool...

We first came to Waterville Valley in the mid-1980s. We stayed at the Valley Inn and The Snowy Owl. I can say that almost all of this hotel has not been renovated, not remodeled, or worn items replaced in all that time. The carpet is original. What was once more of a lively place with a funky Euro alpine ski...

This is not a 5 star hotel - but is fine for what it is - a hotel room. The hotel is a 2 minute walk to the Town Square and hockey rink which was perfect for what I needed. I don't ski but there is a bus which takes u to the ski area. I Agee with other viewers...

After reading the reviews on here we were apprehensive about going as there were 31 of us but we couldn't of asked for more! The food was incredible, people were lovely and there was a 'ski chalet' atmosphere. The staff make you feel welcome and were polite even though we were all 17/18. Would recommend to large groups, but would...
