I brought my best friend here for her surprise 30th for the weekend. We both are into the paranormal and since I saw this Inn on Ghost Hunters, I immediately thought it was perfect. This place is so well kept, and beautiful. Words can't even describe how nice it was. Everyone was very welcoming and sweet. The room we stayed... More

This is my 3rd time back this year. Each time bring someone new to enjoy the food. Sarah our server was great. She remember me from last time. We each had a burger. Which was amazing! The fries and onion rings were homemade. I will be back again. I will try something different. 😁

We are repeat customers. The Inn has so much charm. We spent our honeymoon here last week. We had the Charles Tilton room. So elegant. King size bed and a gas fire place that added ambiance. We went down to the Onions Restaurant on the first floor and had a delicious meal every night. We have a room booked next... More

As I prefer to stay in charming hotels and Inns over chain motels, we decided upon the Tilton Inn in the heart of their old downtown area. Upon arrival, the owner greeted us and got us all checked in. She asked where we parked and informed us we may want to move before we settle in for the night. There... More

There is no way I can express how much we loved this inn. The owner went above and beyond to make our family gathering special. The rooms are lovely. This inn was built in the 1800's, and the floors are not level, and some things may seem "lived in", but if you are looking for new, stay at a chain... More

This is a historic and yes, very worn, inn. At first glance it needs a good paint job and the historic downtown is quite empty of business or anything else for that matter. The "front desk" or reception area is non existent. You have to hope someone is around or see out the office as we did and find Alan,... More

My husband and I stayed at the Tilton Inn recently when we were in New Hampshire for a funeral. We had stayed there once years ago when it had a different owner, and were pleasantly surprised at the changes that had been made since then, The hotel is in an old building that has been an inn since the late... I loved our stay here. We stayed in a queen room, which I believe was the Sanborn room. Absolutely loved the décor and the staff was very nice. (It's the room with yellow and blue curtains in the photos.) Free parking’s included although some of the spots are a two-minute walk. I believe all rooms are on the second floor.... More

We stayed at the Tilton Inn for my sons wedding last weekend. Kathy and Alan could not have been more accommodating! Not only was the room (we stayed in the Charles E. Tilton Room) spacious and comfortable, but we had the rehearsal dinner in the Onions Pub. Can I say that they went beyond our expectations??? The food was fabulous,... More

We booked this last minute for hiking in the white mountains. Tilton itself is a bit of a dead loss, but this place is an absolute gem. The rooms all have individual character and are very quiet - even though the bar and restaurant downstairs can get quite busy. The wifi works well and the staff are really friendly and... More
