My husband and I stayed here for our third time and we love it. It is so relaxing and the innkeepers are so nice. The best parts of staying here is the very tasty breakfast (it is awesome!) and the lovely spacious rooms. It's so relaxing and we are so glad to be back. It's a perfect weekend get away...

We went there for a birthday dinner. It was Excellent! Food was very good! Looking forward to going back. Everyone enjoyed their meals and desserts. We had the beef special, prime rib and risotto. We Definitely recommend the Wakefield Inn!!!

The inn needs maintenance and everything looked a little tired. The area rugs in our room weren't vacuumed and we ran out of toilet paper. The restaurant had only the most basic wine and beer to choose from and the food was average. I've stayed in much nicer places for the same price.

We had heard it was expensive; not so. Almost all entrees were <$25 and most below $20 ... and worth it. The eggplant rotinni special was excellent. The seafood special in a cream sauce was wonderful and the seafood risotto excellent. Both included good size pieces of lobster. Puddle chocolate pie was excellent but did not live up to the...

Although the service was good and the portions HUGE, the prime rib was tough and the side dishes were just okay. Also, why they served baked squash and potatoes is beyond my understanding. In my opinion, it would have been better if they offered a green vegetable in addition to squash OR potatoes. Btw, the prime rib was supposedly 12...

Great stay! breakfast was wonderful, table overlooking country setting; room was very quiet and mattress was so comfy Had dinner there also, had a veggie dish, vegs were fresh, sauce was homemade/ light and delicious. The staff is warm and service excellent, just a nice country inn!

We had a great experience at The Wakefield Inn & Restaurant. The room was spacious, and the bed comfortable. The bathroom was underwhelming as is often the case in older B&Bs and inns. The staff is friendly and helpful. We had dinner, in addition to several breakfasts and enjoyed all of the food. The atmosphere was relaxed.

Amazing food, excellent service, and I would definitely return again! Their dinner is spectacular! Oh yea, it was cool to see turkeys in the background. It's definitely a great place to escape for a couple days!

We have friends with a "camp" on Pine River Pond. For the 2nd year we have come up for a couple of days in July to spend some R&R time and stayed at the Wakefield Inn. This year we stayed in the Tibbits room on the first floor. If you thought it was nice the first time, wait until you...

Went here for my mom's birthday. Glad we did, the food was fantastic. The Inn is still full of charm; just as it was when it was the Spiral Staircase! The staff were great, our waitress was amazing and helpful. Mom started with the Bruschetta ; she and dad said hers was better. I suggest melting the cheese as it...
