Spring Break- Hot tub was not working this needs to be mentioned to guests or on website stating hot tub broken this was the only reason i took it and staff always had a story whey it did not work Valets there was never enough and had to wait forever. Price is super expensive for parking it was clean but once reservation made there should be a comment about no one is entering the room
Great location and nice rooms. Hotel has an indoor pool and gym, as well as serves continental breakfast on weekdays and full breakfast on weekends. Very nice lobby area and offered a great choice of various snacks, etc. in the lobby.
Hotel great location. They are still using the Covid excuse of being short staffed. Certain days no hot breakfast, staff could care less. Other hotels around the corner. Room was nice and clean and parking on street or pay garage or valet.
I booked this hotel through Expedia. When I received my confirmation, I saw immediately that it was for the incorrect dates. I was aware it was non-refundable, and the dates were correct before I went to the payment screen. I immediately contacted the Hotel and Expedia after seeing the confirmation , and both companies told me there was nothing they could do. Hilton told me only Expedia was responsible, and they the hotel was ‘holding Expedia to its policy.’ Expedia called the hotel and requested a waiver from the hotel, which the hotel denied. So it seems to me that the Hotel has the policy to deny waivers - even when they are immediately notified of a problem. I told the Hilton assistant manager that denial of a waiver was on the hotel, not Expedia, but he continued to argue it was Expedia’s policy. Then he told me they get ‘hundreds of calls’ of this nature, so…. Apparently, being a loyal customer and Hilton Honors member doesn’t make me an important enough customer to get any help with my problem. How much would it have cost Hilton to give me a room for the correct date, and let me pay the difference between that and what they get from expedia? Lesson learned. Buh bye, Hilton……
I'm so not impressed with this hotel at all. Location is really the only thing it has going for it. The rooms are noisy - the heat coming on is extremely loud, the toilets are overly whiny and loud, the refrigerators are loud, and all of these things are not just loud in your own room, but you can hear them in neighboring rooms as well since there seems to be zero soundproofing (which means the noisy kids and people coming back in from the bars closing are also overly loud). The pool is quite small, and there are definitely much nicer of those in the area. The price you pay doesn't include anything: no breakfast, no parking. There is only valet parking, and the cost is pretty ridiculous for where they stick your car. I could find nothing to account for this hotel getting rated any higher than a Motel-8 or such. For the price paid, you are much better off looking at some of the area's nice Airbnbs or something instead. It's really and truly outlandish.…
I was extremely happy with our stay at this hotel. Staff was extremely kind and helpful and the hotel was extremely clean and smelled clean (which is very important to me). We thank you for a great stay. I also needed to print a release for my daughters job because I forgot to at home and the business area was stocked well with everything I needed.

We enjoyed staying at this hotel, and found it comfortable and clean with a great location. Staff was very helpful. We would definitely recommend this spot to others when visiting Portsmouth. Proximity to restaurants, shops, and site seeing is great.
I've stayed here countless times since it was built, the location, staff, rooms are all perfect to enjoy Portsmouth. This hotel never disappoints, I HIGHLY recommend it if you're staying in town, perfect location.
This is a Garden Inn, it was what I expected from Hilton's more budget friendly hotel. Great location where I could walk to everything. The place was clean but unremarkable which matched with what I was paying.
