I had come upon the Spruce Moose Lodge when looking for a "dog friendly" place to stay in New Hampshire...and this place surely is that! However, it is SOOOO much more. I came with my husband and daughter (4) and I am not sure I have ever stayed anywhere and felt as welcomed as we did here. My daughter spent...

I was in North Conway on business this week and took my wife and our dog along for a few days to do a little hiking. We once again stayed at the Spruce Moose Lodge and Cottages. I cannot say enough about this B&B and the innkeepers/owners Nellie and Leon Filip. Their attention to making sure you have a wonderful...

My wife & I had never stayed at a B&B before but after staying at the Spruce Moose I don't think we would stay anywhere else. The owners, Leon & Nellie where super nice and told us some of their favorite places to visit and eat. Breakfast was delicious and Leon makes the best hash browns you will ever have....

This was my first stay at Spruce Moose, which a friend recommended as dog friendly. I appreciated that my dog and I had the privacy we needed, with plenty of room for her to stretch out and enjoy the yard. The cottage (Rogers Retreat) was very clean, with a super comfortable bed. The in-room hot tub was wonderful after a...

We have stayed 3 times here. Most recently with our 2 kids in April 2016. We stayed at the Little House which is dog friendly and consists of 3 bedrooms and a full kitchen. It is so relaxing when we stay here. Our kids love it and the innkeepers are welcoming and have accommodated any requests we have had. We...

My wife and I celebrated our first anniversary at the Spruce Moose 7 years ago and we've been going back every year since. Most years there have been visits through out each year. We call Roger's Retreat, our room. We find the rooms clean and comfortable. We have grown quite fond of Leon's and Nellie's warm welcome and great breakfasts,...

We stayed in the "Roger's Retreat" jacuzzi bungalow for the Valentine's day weekend. Really enjoyed the place, despite the fact that it was -32 with the windchill...room was large and warm from the fireplace, jacuzzi tub was huge and a welcome respite from the cold. Highly recommend the bungalow rooms, as they're separate from the rest of the main house...

We loved staying at this B&B. Lovely and clean room, friendly hosts and excellent food. In July the porch was perfect for lazy evenings with wine and conversations with other guests. We'd love to come back.

First time staying at Spruce Moose, but definitely won't be my last. From the moment I walked in the door Nellie made us feel at home. The entire lodge was incredibly cozy, from the constant sights and sounds of the fireplace to the tea and coffee station around the corner: everything was clean, warm and inviting. Homemade pancakes and bacon...

Second stay at Spruce Moose this MLK weekend was as perfect as last summer. Booked both stays for hiking trips nearby. Great hosts, 3 friendly dogs, common area with fireplace, clean cozy rooms, and amazing home cooked breakfast - the list goes on. Downtown North Conway is a quick walk down the street. Only wonderful things to say about my...
