Friday night into early morning Saturday at 1:00am I was woken up by what felt like a nasty bug on my neck. I felt it's body as I flung it off of me and turned on the light to find it. When I called the office to let them know I was told that I could have brought them in although she offered me another room. I declined the offer to stay and started to search for a hotel. Before we left (we kept our things in the room and ill get to this) we made sure we did a thorough check. After finding larva eggs and almost a dozen of both dead and live roaches my anxiety was through the roof and we left with the clothes on our backs to sleep in a clean place the rest of the night and planned to go back to the room in the morning to deal with our clothing. We had been there a little over a week. The house we had lived in was sold and we are waiting on our apartment to be ready a long with all the financial parts of selling a home to go through. We were simply trying not to save a buck since we are out most of the day working and needed a place to crash at night without imposing on our friends and family. Had we of known this would of been what we were paying for we would of chose differently. We didn't want to potentially bring a roach problem elsewhere so we put our things in large trash bags that the office had given us to seal them up and deal with it when we could get to a laundromat and kill off anything that might of infested or made a home in our things. My fiance couldn't go to work on Saturday because of this and again management (Alicia) made it even a bigger nightmare although we were very nice to her. Below is my experience with this woman. When I called to touch base in the morning to speak to the manager Alicia (the night before there was only a front desk person on and was I was told to call when she arrived for her shift so I did) she told me this- "anyone can find the pictures the want to on Google." After I picked my jaw up off the floor I asked her would you like to see the container in the room with about a dozen of them? She told me if I was not there within minutes I would not be able to get my things. I told her we were on the way and that how she is handling this would be reported to corporate and this was my last communication with her. We retrieved our things and videoed walking into the room and up to the container of roaches to make sure no one would say this was some stunt like she more than implied. My fiancé went to the front desk as I stayed in NY vehicle and she told him we were not allowed back to the property ever again and her reason was because we called corporate on her. They have tried to get us refunded and so far have declined and have treated us horrible even though we deserved anything but. We are good people, we do not fit in with the rest of the clientele that goes in and out of there and they were very nice up until this point even as we were treating the horrible customer service with manners as Alicia and the owner did not. They say they didn't know about this issue even when there are both alive and dead roaches on the property. The are treating them but neglecting to tell paying customers about to knowing most people will stay elsewhere. I am in communication with Motel 6 corporate and when they officially decline my full refund I want back since I would of never stayed in a room infested with roaches I will update what happens on that end. (The D.W highway property has until tomorrow night to respond to corporate and if not it goes to ANOTHER supervisor and higher up). I hope anyone who looks to stay here knows what they are getting themselves into 🤮

They say they have non smoking rooms, they stink ! Filthy, sheets look like they haven’t been changed, have cigarette burns on them. Floors are filthy. It looks like this is used as low income housing. Pay a little more and go somewhere decent. See cigarette burns on the toilet seat, wrinkled sheets and dirty tub.

On a weekend vacation with my 2 dogs wanted something reasonable and close to the rail trail. Great location and easy check in process! Checked in at 3.41 went to find the room and noticed the door opened assuming it was being cleaned? So we decided to do some shopping and get something to eat. We arrived back to the hotel around 8pm. The room was very outdated and dirty. I understand it's a dog friendly room but the room was full of dog hair even the bedding! I ended up having to keep my sandals on. When it came time for bed I honestly didn't want to get into the bedding! After getting into bed I realized the bed spring's were poking me in the ribs ! The air conditioner shut down so I called the front desk around midnight and she said to put it on 60 so we got it running again but it was so loud it sounded like a frt train! I told her about the room conditions and she told me she would see what she could do! After laying there waiting about 20 mins for a return call we decided to just pack up and head back home a 3 hr drive in the rain back to my own comfy bed! Needless to say I have never had such a bad experience at a hotel and I still feel dirty after even being home! Also, the only amenity was 2 bars of soap! No shampoo, cond blow dryer nothing!

Quote " The customer in not always right." March 23. " Double charges are between you and your bank." True my bank to long with my prepaid reservation. I paid a second time in person. Ask for the courtesy of viewing my bank statement with both charges to the same Motel 6 the same day. I was met with the customer is not always right. Alicia needs more training on customer service.

The staff was REALLY nice, and the room was clean. But! The towel rack fell off the wall when my husband removed the towel and wasn't fixed the whole time we were there (3 nights, 4 days). The bathroom light switch was outside the bathroom door...which wouldn't have been a problem except that a REALLY LOUD fan turned on when the light went on and, since the door was open, you could hear it not just loudly outside the bathroom but also in the next door room! (We had family staying in that, too.) That is NOT cool. The mattress was severely sunken in the middle. It was supposedly an ADA room, but the walkway was not well-shoveled or de-iced, including the ramps from the parking lot to the walkway. I use a cane, and needed help...which I usually don't need when walking on ramps or sidewalks. The shower seat was built-in and too far from the faucet end of the tub, so nothing was reachable without assistance. The toilet took 2-3 flushes to flush toilet paper. However. I do want to emphasize how very nice the staff was and how helpful they tried to be.
