This is a more personal place to stay than a hotel . It is a bed and breakfast but offers a bit more than a hotel. The rooms are well furnished and as it is the summer the central air system made it a very pleasant place to stay . (Central air is a built in air conditioning system with...

We stayed at Ash Street Inn for a fortnight and can't fault it. Very comfortable rooms and spotless bathrooms with everything you could ask for. The breakfasts are excellent and freshly cooked to order (I specially recommend the light, fluffy blueberry pancakes). Hot and cold drinks as well as home-made cookies and scones are always available to help yourself to...

Everything was very enjoyable. The atmosphere is relaxed yet classy. The room, the breakfast, the amenities, the fire place, all contributed to a really pleasant stay. The location is quiet and convenient with a parking right in the front. Margit and Rob are professional, friendly and knowledgeable.

We went to this inn as a summer weekend getaway - biked up from Boston (!) and it was AMAZING! The inn is a beautiful old buildling, impeccably remodeled and very warm and inviting. From snacks on the wraparound porch (home made scones and tea - yummy!) when we arrived, to dinner a short walk away at a locally sourced...

Our stay at the Ash Street Inn was perfect in every way. From Rob greeting us at the door, to our cozy and comfortable room with everything we could want (including lip balm!), baskets of snacks and access to the kitchen for late night cravings, cooked to order breakfast and great conversation - we could not have asked for anything...

We had a wonderful stay at the Ash Street Inn. We were warmly welcomed even with a very early arrival. Our room had every amenity we could want. Snacks and beverages were available all the time. The entire facility was spotless and the bed linens were wonderful too. We took advantage of their package plan including admission to the Currier...

I'm so in love with my new husband and the Ash Street Inn. We found Margit, the proprietor, to be more than accommodating. We chose room 205, and couldn't be happier. It was beautiful. A gas fireplace, amazing robes waiting on the back of the door. The bathroom left out no detail. Everything is provided and thought of. You could...

When we booked Ash Street Inn, it was based on previous great Tripadvisor reviews; under different ownership and the new owners/hosts Rob and Margit have continued to provide first class service and accommodation. It is a wonderful Victoria House which still retains all its character. We thoroughly enjoyed this stay, our room 203 on the ground floor( I think they...

This was my second time staying at the Ash Street Inn. It will always be my choice when going to Manchester. The owners Margit and Rob made it so special. Their breakfasts were delicious. There were many great choices for a home cooked breakfast. The rooms are emaculate and very well decorated. It was quiet and lovely. Also it is...
