John and Donna always make us feel right at home. We had not visited in several years, but felt like we had never left. The breakfasts are superb and always something different to try. The guest refrigerator allows us to keep snacks or drinks for relaxing later in the day. The DVD selection had many new ones even to my...

The only comment is that the bathroom was part of the bedroom which may surprise some people. It reminded us of European accommodations. While the toilet was in a separate WC, the sink was across the bedroom. The floor was a painted slab of sorts, but there were area rugs. Nevertheless, the room was extremely clean, tastefully decorated, and quiet....

The hosts, John and Donna Andersen, are friendly and very accommodating, and a storehouse of information on where to eat and what to see in the area. Their website is informative and has a photo of each individual room. They provide a delicious breakfast daily with 2 hot choices and a small buffet of sides of items such as fresh...

We enjoyed our stay at Breakfast on the Connecticut. Our hosts were welcoming and attentive without being overwhelming, we had found the public spaces "just right" for meeting other guests without feeling too much withthem, the room was comfortable, and the food was excellent. Our hosts were happy to advise on places to go, to dine, to see and had...

I stayed at the B&B for an overnite with 2 other women. We shared a room for 3. The place is off the beaten path and while you can see the Ct river, it is not close. I found the owners to be distant. We never felt welcomed nor were we shown where things were or what we could use....

We selected this large B&B as a place to meet with extended family prior to a Memorial Service the following day. If you are looking for a quiet, peaceful location, somewhat out of the way, but convenient to the Hanover area...this is it. Enjoyed the beautiful outdoor views from the adirondeck chairs overlooking the river. There is also a scenic...

It doesn't get much better than this! At the end of an exhausting day with the grandkids, we sipped a glass of wine sitting in some Adirondacks overlooking the Connecticut river. The bed was firm, the shower strong and even though we overlooked the parking area, the noise was virtually non-existent. Breakfast scones, asparagus frittata, a slice of cantaloupe, and...

My partner and I stayed for 2 nights at BotC and had a thoroughly relaxing time. Donna and John are the quintessential New England hosts - informative, friendly, and reserved. At John's advice we ate at Stella's on our first night and I would likely trust any other recommendations this man made on anything. I have already raved about BotC...

We needed a place to stay near Camp Billings and opted for a B&B instead of a traditional hotel/motel. The Breakfast on the Connecticut was perfect! We had a room in the back with a cot for our teenage. The room and lodge were beautiful, the hosts were great, and the breakfast was excellent. It's an absolutely great B&B. No...

“We were in a room just off the living room, on the first floor. At first we worried that it might be too noisy, we never heard a thing -- and since the living room was often empty, we used it as we would in our own home. Our room had a small deck, but we didn't use it.”
