We stayed during the last week of June 2016. We really enjoyed the camp as well as all there was to do in the area. We are retired and took our granddaughters for a week of fun, and fun it was. For ourselves it is not the type of RVing we do. We prefer less populated areas and avoid the...

This was our third year at the campground and I do recommend this to any one that is traveling. We have rented the cabins and they are by far very clean and nice. Cabin 9 is our favorite nice big rooms and a lovely porch to sit on. The pool was the hit with my 6 year old granddaughter, she...

If you are looking to tent go somewhere else!! The Campground was nice but way to many rules and not a lot followed them in my opinion. When I booked I let the women on the phone know I was camping in a tent with my kids so when I got to this gravel filled sight with a incline I...

Thank you for your review. The insects were extremely bad this year throughout the whole town. It was a very hot summer and camping in any area that has trees, you will have insects. Our dumpster is dumped very often to help keep flies under control. However, the staff member was correct and there was nothing we could do to...

This campground is family owed & it shows. We went to Mt Lake with our two boys 9 & 4 & our two dogs. No dog discrimination just showed proof of rabies & off we went. This campground isn't that big and fills up quick .. So just book it don't hesitate. We had such a great time I miss...

Mountain Lake Campground and RV Park was a great surprise! We loved everything about it. The views on the lake were amazing. The pool was extremely clean and the slides were a ton of fun. The bathhouse was clean as well. Our sites were very nice - shaded with mature pine trees. The kids truly enjoyed exploring the campground -...

We are a family of 4 and this was our first camping trip. Our children loved all the activities the campground offered. The pool/water slides area was very clean. The ladies working the desk were super friendly. Kids can make their own sundaes on Wednesdays and Saturdays. Our campsite was flat and large. We fit 2 tents 6 person &...

We pulled in and were immediately impressed by how nice the park looked. Check-in was quick and we had a guide show us to our site. My site was long but a little bit too narrow for my preference. It was really hot so after setting up we took our grandchild to the pool. The pool was really nice and...

Thank you for your review. Yes, up in the mountains, we do get those 2 minute microbursts. If we get them, it's only once a year. Anytime one camps in the woods, trees are always a concern in bad weather. We make sure we take down all dead or dying trees and branches to help prevent accidents. Unfortunately, we cannot...

We just returned from our stay at Mountain Lake Campground and are already looking forward to returning next year! We were a large group of 3 families (6 adults and 5 kids, ages 7, 5, 4, 3 and 11 months), and rented 3 cabins on the lake. We could not have been happier! The cabins and the campground in general...

I can not say a bad thing about this campground. Even though it rained for almost 2 of our days there we found plenty to do around the campground. The kids loved swimming and fishing in the lake, and they absolutely loved the water slides and pool. The staff was friendly and the facilities were very clean. (cleaned 2 times...
