We've been staying at Barton's every fall when we attend the Nascar races at Loudon for several years. We consider it a little gem on the lake. It's a great location in the Lakes Region. The Union Diner across the street is great for breakfast or lunch and there are a number of good restaurants in the area for dinner.... More

Barton's is right on the water and also has a heated swimming pool. I thought it was over-priced for what it is but maybe that was because of the location. It was very clean. I recommend the diner across the street.

We stayed 3 nights at this motel. It was quaint and CLEAN. Right on the lake and close to town. You can't do better for location. There is a little beach, row boat and dock. Free Wi F, Excellent diner right across the street.

We were touring during our travels to New England to chase the colours of the Fall leaves and Laconia NH looked to be a good place to base ourselves for a few nights. Whilst starting to look for some accommodation on the Wednesday afternoon we happened to pass by "Bartons Motel" with the 'vacancy' sign lit up and so stopped... More

Right on the water and clean rooms. It was very relaxing and we enjoyed our stay. The decor is quaint and made me feel like I was staying in a cabin right on the water, even though it's a motel. We were going to bring our boat to keep on the dock, but did not end up bringing it. The... More

Our family, aged 14 months to 65 years, just spent a night at Barton' s. I can only say that we all had a great time. The grounds are beautiful, the rooms sparkling clean, and the views spectacular. There were 14 of us and the staff did a great job assigning us adjoining rooms. The kids spend all afternoon going... More

Only Issue I have is you cannot reserve on line actually have to call in your reservation. The clerk is very nice at the desk. Great location on the water a dock for boats.... More

Barton's was a "drive-by" stop for us in the Lakes Region and we picked a winner. Lovely, private beachfront with long, sloping, shaded lawns and a very clean swimming pool. During the week it was uncrowded and quiet. The room was nothing fancy, but nice and clean! The owners here keep up the property, even-though it is outdated, talking wood... More

The customer service was friendlier on the phone than in person.. For the high price we paid there could have been a coffee machine in the room or if not at the reception desk.. But we had a great time at the bike show.
