This place was extremely musty and in need of repairs. The rooms were dated and dingy. I couldn't get past the smell. The exercise room had 1 exercise bike in it. The hot tub was disgusting. We cut our vacation short and couldn't wait to leave this place. The porch was the best place to be. I wouldn't even attempt...

We stayed here again this year because we just fell in love with it last year. This year we had room 303 which was called a mountain view one room suite. Keep in mind there are 2 room suites which we had last year which has a queen bed in a bedroom and a sofa bed in the living room....

I've never took the time to write a bad review before, but this hotel is filthy and in disrepair. I don't know where to start. The wall paper was moldy and falling off the walls, the ceiling was cracked and had water damage, the bathroom was full of mold. The door to the room next to us did not even...

We are driving around New England and picked this place based on reviews and location. It is nestled in the hill country of Jackson, New Hampshire juxtaposed to the White Mountains. It is an old establishment with dignified charm. The elevators are ancient but serviceable. The rooms are large and well maintained. Ours had a refrigerator. The lobby is of...

This place specializes in rustic charm and classic elegance; it is a nostalgic trip back to the time of Teddy Roosevelt and the railroad hotels across America. Also a reasonable rate. Not all modernized, which I appreciated. We had our wedding there, and everyone in the party wanted to return next year for an anniversary party! Very comfortable for families...

Stayed on two separate occasions at Eagle Mountain House with wife and two young children. We wee looking for an old New England experience close to Storyland and found it here. Very nice drive past a covered bridge or two, and up a road adjacent to Rocky rapids, the lodge is secluded on a quiet hill. The house wasn't modernized...if...

This hotel could not have a prettier location. Even the street it is on is flanked by a creek that splashes over rocks and cascades over boulders. You can park along the road and walk to the creek, sit on the boulders and soak in the scenery. Artists are drawn to this place as well. Once you reach the hotel,...

Excellent stay! Beautiful location and building. Love the atmosphere and historical theme to the hotel and area. The place made you feel welcome and comfortable with the great staff and cleanliness. Definitely will return for another stay in the near future. With all there is to do in the surrounding area, I could see ourselves staying here many times over.

This was the second time we visited Eagle Mountain. It is a lovely, historic inn in a rural setting. The lobby is like stepping back in time. We enjoyed a relaxing dinner on the front porch. If you want a beautiful view in New Hampshire I recommend Eagle Mountain. Close to Attatash which has an alpine slide and mountain coaster...

My boyfriend and I stayed at the Eagle Mountain House over July 4th weekend. We were looking for a place close to Mt. Washington. I was a little concerned when I drove up and saw the pealing paint on the side of the hotel, but room was clean, furniture well kept up and beds comfortable. The staff was also very...
