I did a lot of research about Nestlenook before paying the 200+ a night rate. I found that the reviews were mostly positive and their web site was impressive. Maybe this inflated my expectation of the property. Bottom line was that I was rather disappointed. I stayed in the Victorian Village penthouse, a very large room with a nice fireplace...

We went to the Inn and had a wonderful time. The clerk who checked us in was wonderful. (He was the same one who gave me a great tour when I did a day trip there last winter--after seeing it, I had to stay there.) He provides a ver nice evening "wine and cheese" spread as he calls it ......

Wife and I recently stayed here just after the columbus day holiday weekend. The room we selected "Penthouse" was very beautiful, very clean, great jacuzzi tub, great fireplace, the gentleman who signed us in was very cordial, but we felt since we were not staying in the main Inn that we were not supposed to look around the day rooms...

This place is absolutely stunning. We booked a 2 night stay in the end of September, just hoping for a quiet getaway. We had originally planned on camping, but decided it was too much work for 2 days. We found the Nestlenook Inn/Victorian Village online, and chose it for its 65 acres, hiking, biking, boats, etc. Oh, and how can...

Me and my husband, 10-year-old daughter and 5-year-old son, along with grandma and auntie, stayed in the Grand Victorian accomodation at Victorian Village, part of lovely Nestlenook Estate. The Grand Victorian is above the Victorian Village in the huge mansion at the top of the hill. I understand that the owner lives in half of the house and rents out...

We just returned from a week at the Victorian Village suites at Nestlenook. The suite had way more amenities than expected or advertised -- very spacious with 2 porches, outside lounge chairs, a huge bbq grill, well stocked kitchen, washer/dryer,. 2 televisions, all with excellent and tasteful furnishings and decor. The grounds were a treat to explore, we especially enjoyed...

Ok, I've never stayed at this resort, but every winter my girlfriend and I make a trip up there. The reason is the amazing ice skating pond and the horse drawn sleigh rides. Lets start with the ice skating pond. This is immaculate. It looks like something out of a painting! It reminds me of the ceramic Christmas ice skating...

I have been here several times. I have never seen the same staff, ever. That says alot for the management and owner. They are way overpriced. The place is dusty and extremely cluttered. I was afraid to walk through the common areas for fear I would drop and break something. In that respect it is not a comfortable place to...

Please, bear in mind people seem to love this place. I don't find the attraction, maybe it's because it is not our cup of tea. The place was neat (just a little dusty), clean (minus a huge amount of flies for some reason) and the service was excellent. The food was great. My husband and I just found this place...

My 9 year old child and 17 year old nephew and I just returned from our stay at the Victorian Village units on the Nestlenook Farm property (part of the Luxury Mountain Getaway units) at Jackson, NH. I am very picky about cleanliness and peace and quiet and was very pleased with the Master Suite unit we rented for two...
