Stayed here for one night in mid October through Living Social. When I called a couple of months ahead to book our room and request a specific room, which I had seen on their website, I was told that room assignments were made at the time of check in, though the website clearly says "Select your rooms from our eight... You purchased a heavily discounted voucher that we used to offer through livingsocial. When you made the reservation we explained to you that due to the discounted program you are not able to choose a room and that rooms 1 to 7 are used for the package. The rooms are sold at full price and those left are used for... More

We stayed in the Forest Cottage for 5 nights. It is behind the main house and very private. Very accommodating hosts and more than substantial breakfasts. Enjoyed chatting with Mitch in the mornings. This location was perfect-central to all sight seeing adventures. We will definitely stay here again should we get the opportunity. Loved it!

The inn has a very nice old English style and is appealing. Unfortunately, old is not always an advantage. The room is heated through a hot water loop and there was no control at the room level. Consequently, it was too cold the first night and too hot the second night. Our bathroom was very spacious. The bed was too... More

My response to this review first is to apologize if I had allergy issues during your visit. This time of year in the fall many people do. I am a bit of a germ a phobic and wash my hands more times a day than the average and honestly if i had sneezed in front of you i do apologize,... More

Our first time in New Hampshire was slightly disappointing when we arrived at the Glen Oaks Inn. We stayed in one of the cottages. It was cozy, but needs a great deal of repairs as does the main Inn. The bed was very comfortable, however the price of the accommodation was inflated for what the room offered. There was no... More

We just spent two nights upstairs in Room 7. Very neat place to stay in a good location. Breakfast was great and hosts were very accommodating of our late arrival. Its not the Ritz Carlton, but it is a house built in the 1700's with more character than a ritz could ever have.

A quaint New England Bread & Breakfast with a unique character. In every room you could see care was taken to give it that New England charm. We found the owners both delightful and informative. Truly enjoyed the breakfast that was carefully prepared for us.

I found this inn through Living Social. We weren't planning on a trip but saw this offer and said, why not? Good decision. My husband skied and I traveled through the outlets in Conway. We had a nicely decorated room with a gas fireplace. The bed was comfy. The bathroom was large and clean. The breakfast was hot and delicious.... More

We stayed in the stone cottage near the house. Room was very comfy and cozy. The owners were very helpful with Wifi and getting the fireplace working, and restaurant recommendations. The only downside was because it's an older house and that it was so cold out (below zero) that the bathroom was cold even if we left the door open... More

Thank you for your review on the Inn. The Cottle Cottage Room is a room that we also have a small heater in the bathroom for those colder mornings. It has a thermostat and would have made your stay more comfortable had you used it. Breakfast hours are set to allow all our guests the opportunity to have a home... More

I found this place on Groupon, and some of the negative reviews on here tempered my expectations. However I was pleasantly surprised. First you have have to realize, this place is not the Ritz. The house is 200+ years old, there are creaks, and quirks abound, however that is the charm of this place. When we arrived that night after... More

We recently stayed in this Inn because of the proximity to the Fryeburg Fair. It was a short ride with beautiful foliage. We stayed in the family room with my 12 year old son.
