Friendly lady checked us in. Free cotton candy on Saturday! Room smelled musty when we opened the door. After opening the windows, it was better. Luxury bed linens, as good as 5 star hotel. Comfortable bed, nice shower. Realized no hair dryer in room. Went back to ask for one, which was brought to us a few minutes later. Good coffee. A bit overpriced at $186.77.

I've stayed at Perry's before because of my enjoyment of the old vintage motor court experience with the cabins. It was okay, nothing extravagant, but highly enjoyable. My most recent stay brought the news that the place was under new ownership, and the new owners have already made a bunch of improvements since my last day. I'm looking forward to getting back there next year to see what they get done during the winter. If you're up for a nice vintage mid-century sort of getaway (in a positive way), then spend a few nights in one of the cabins!

We loved our short stay at Perry's (3 days/2 nights). Next time we will stay longer so we can enjoy their amenities more. My kids (7 and 2 years old) had so much fun. They have 2 play grounds (one for toddlers full of fund outdoor toys and another playground for older kids) everything is so clean, they do a very good job maintaining the outdoors, there are plenty of games for the kids and the heated pool is also very nice. Many seating areas to take a break, tons of trees shade. I wish we would have got there early on Saturday, they had "Free cotton candy" for the kids from 4PM to 6PM but we missed it due to our late arrival. The owners are wonderful! we felt at home as soon as we got there, very friendly and welcoming. We will try to go back next year while our kids are still able to enjoy the place as it is really the best option if you have kids. We stayed on a Double cabin cottage with no kitchen as we planned to dine out on our short stay. We had a grill and utensils available to us if we wanted to cook as well as a picnic table with an umbrella. Inside the cottage we had a small fridge, microwave and a TV. I was impressed by the WIFI speed service, considering we all connected our tablets and cellphones, it had great service (Even better from other big hotel chains in the area). The Cable TV service was great too. Our bedrooms were fine each with a queen beds, ceiling fans and a window Air conditioner. Hot water was good too. One thing to note, this cottage was cute, but not modern, it was simple enough to meet our needs, we could not ask for more. We loved it. I think the owners are doing such a great job, i give kudos to them for all the hard work they put in every day on maintaining this place and for how much they care and appreciate their clients. Big thanks for your service and we hope to be back soon! :)

The motel has a clean and refreshing pool with a shallow and deep end with pool toys available. There is a cool robot that cleans it each early morning. There is a good playground and Webber BBQs (charcoal) available. Mattresses are new and the carpet is new in the motel rooms. There is an extensive under 5s play area with fisher price type outside toys. It is so close to Storyland less than an hour from Santa’s village. The decor is retro and the motel is literally 100 years old but there was ongoing landscaping and our room was clean. My parents had a 2 room cottage which was small and sweet. The TV worked fine. AC unit was old but worked well too.

This is a horrible place to stay in and one of the worst experiences I've had. We were taking our son to Storyland and thought this would be convenient. The minute we walked into the room, we saw black dots on the wall. They were bugs. We were DISGUSTED. Then, we opened the sheet and saw more bugs. The room looked like it was from the 80's. The tv was not working nor was the wifi. We went right to the manager and she made it sound like a favor that she would give us an "upgrade" to a cabin. She assured us that housekeeping had just cleaned the room, but how is that possible if there were bugs everywhere. The cabin we were "upgraded" to was extremely small and again, NO wifi and NO working tv. The bathroom was gross and did not even have a sink; you had to wash your hands in the kitchenette. We left immediately after telling the manager about our horrible experience and endured a 3 hour ride home rather than staying in this absolutely gross place. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!
